I found my checkbook!! I was under one of the seats in my car. I looked many a time, but it was on the door side of the front passenger seat.

I had set them there as I was settling into a nice hot bath… a week ago. I found them conveniently at hand the next time I took a bath.

Congrats. I was going to suggest it had fallen into the crevice between the car seat and the console. My checkbook has chameleon characteristics which allow it to pass itself off as an old receipt from Albertson’s or Borders’ and avoid detection.
