The real complication was because I did my internship at Boston. Social Security was charged when it shouldnt have, I probably should claim part-year residence in MD also(but I cant back it up cause I donthave a sublet aggreement), can I claim the lost Social Security as non taxable income (even though I might get back lost social security from IRS- which I shouldnt becuase they dont handle it), should I fill out 8843 or 8833?, why am I paying Maryland some MORE money when the Baltimore is f***ed up anyway, I mean if I go one block away from my home I probably survive it…
Man, I have had it…
I am going to home to sleep.
Thanks for your time.
Anyway, I am a grad student. I dont think grad students can afford the luxury of an agent.
I STILL havent mailed the forms!!! The post office on campus is closed today. I checked the deadlines: All say April 17th or 18th. I hope I get penalised for this…
When the 15th comes out on Saturday or Sunday, the due date is the next Monday.
Sigh. One of my fondest dreams is that I will earn enough money to have to pay MILLIONS of dollars in taxes. I wouldn’t complain, not one word, I promise.
I buy Turbo Tax every year. After rebates, it only costs like $10. Makes it easy as pie, even with a K-1 Trust.
The bad thing is that my husband brags to everyone how I do our taxes, and each year I end up with a new “client.” I’m up to 3 now. I guess that makes me a U.P.A. Anyway, I just know that one of my clients is bound to get audited sooner or later, and a good friendship will go down the drain when I pretend I’ve never met these people before.
