Which actors do you dislike to watch?

You beat me to it! I cringe every time he shows up in something I want to see. For me, it’s his acting.

On the face front, may I offer Tony Danza?

I gotta disagree about Bill Paxton in Aliens. His character is the one who’s all “Let’s Rock and Roll!!” til they see the Alien and then it’s like a great 180: “Man this thing’ll kill us !!” Don’t you have to love that? I do.
One False move was cool

This may draw some bad heat, but Caitriona Balfe in Outlander annoys the hell out of me. She is always smirking and looking at the Scots as if to say “Oh, look you cute little backwards tartan wearing barbarians, I’m from 1935 and so much smarter than all of you.” and time and time again, it usually turns out she’s not. I really like the show, and thinks she’s a good actress, as well as very pretty, but her reaction shots make me want to punch in my TV.

I should have blamed James Cameron for writing cartoonish characters. Paul Reiser was way too evil. I never understood his motivation.

He does get some credit for acting integrity. he goes full frontal in Get Rich or Die Tryin and comes up…errr…short. :o

Bradley Cooper
Shia LaBeuf
Ben Stiller

Tried watching Luther (my second attempt), but had to bail because of the extreme craziness of everyone on the show–criminals, cops, they’re all nuts.

But it reminded me that I can’t stand watching Ruth Wilson. There is something very wrong with her mouth, more specifically, her upper lip and its relationship with/to her teeth. Or maybe it’s a huge overbite. This is aside from the fact that her character, Alice Morgan, is one of **the **most annoying characters in all of TV history, and WHY does Luther keep trying to reason with her on the phone?? Hang up on the crazy bitch already.

(Idris Elba is very attractive, however, except for his character being a high-strung lunatic.)

Ruth Wilson did play Jane Eyre, which was appropriate, because Jane Eyre is *supposed *to be homely.

Zooey Deschanel- she is irritating as last generations Wynona Ryder.

and

Wynona Ryder- she is the same person, same shocked facial expression, same insincere acting

Katherine Heigl. So very very much.

Her acting, if you can call it that, seems to consist mostly of telling people off while barely avoiding breaking down sobbing. I saw a movie some years back as part of a community event where she played a pharma rep who has a crisis of conscience or something, and it was the least enjoyable piece of dreck I’ve ever plunked down good money to see.

Put it this way: I can practically recite three or four Judd Apatow movies. I’ve only seen Knocked Up once, and I won’t see it again unless I’m at someone’s place and they have it on DVD, to avoid putting any money in her bank account.

Long before he humped the one note of "Walt! Walt! Walt! to death on Lost, I hated Harold Perrineau. When there are so many things to hate about the Matrix sequels, he still manages to be the least believable things in them, and every small US indie film from the 90s I revisit is ruined when I forget that he was in quite a few of them. Ugh.
