Which cartoon character would make the best President?

Democrat: Lisa Simpson

Republican/Libertarian: Stan Marsh

I guess we’ll have to wait till 2032 for this election though.

Bullshit…its just a joke dude. You must be very insecure in your conservatism for you to react this way. Just because you don’t think somethings funny, doesn’t mean you have to be an ass. If you have a complaint, take it to the pit, otherwise, sit down, you’re blocking my view. You’ve ruined a perfectly good thread.

You’re upset because its ben implied Mr. Burns is a republican?!?!?!?! OK. Fine. Hes a Democrat. Having Mr. Burns in office would be like having a slightly less evil Clinton in the White House. Happy now?

Actually no. I don’t WANT to bring partisan politics into it. I don’t WANT to make Clinton insults or Gore jokes any more than I want to read dumbass IQ jokes about Bush. Every time anyone from either side of the aisle brings this shit up in Cafe Society it always ends up ugly.

OK, when you put it that way, I can understand where you’re coming from, but geez…you just seemed to be taking things a litle too seriously.

Jon

Daria’s pretty damn smart, I’d vote for her.

Beavis and Butthead 2004! (AAAHHH NOOO!!!)

Forget the favorite, vote for Underdog!
There’s no need to fear, Underdog is here!

What a campaign slogan.

Well I didn’t realise that slams on Bush’s intelligence were forbidden in Cafe Society, but if there’s any doubt to Monty’s Republicanism, Sideshow Bob Roberts saw Monty plotting at Republican Party Headquarters, along with Smithers, McBain, Birch Barlow, a demon, Burns’ lawyer, Dr. Hibbert, Antoine Tex O’Hara and Sideshow Bob. A later episode, without a capsule, though referenced here added Ralph Nader, Krusty the Klown, Dracula and Bob Dole to the list. Monty was again seen at the meeting.

Race Bannon, and his life partner–er, running mate, Dr. Benton Quest.

Unfortunately, “the little guy” is Robin, and America isn’t quite ready for that.

Burns is definitely a Republican. Sorry, it’s one thing the show is actually consistent about. And this argument is one of the most pointless I’ve seen in a while.

So, to ratchet up the partisanism: Bugs Bunny would’ve caught bin Laden by now. There, I said it! Somebody had to! :stuck_out_tongue:

And he would have done it with nothing more than a camel, a dress and a few sticks of TNT.

RikWriter, settle down, please. This thread is about cartoon characters with presidential potential. You’re taking things way too seriously when a joke about Monty Burns being smarter than GWB sets you off like that.

Also, stop suggesting this thread will be moved to the Pit. It’s obvious you badly want it to, but it’s not going to happen. Just drop it, or open a Pit thread yourself.

Coldfire, I said that if I replied in kind, the end result would be the Pit, and I believe that is an accurate statement, given previous experiences here in Cafe Society. I doubt you can honestly tell me I am wrong about that.

You may have said that, Rik, but it would have been an inaccurate statement. Lots of things might have happened, short of moving a very funny thread into the Pit because one person is being overly-sensitive.

You’ve been warned by Coldfire to lay off. You want to complain about that warning, that complaint belongs in the Pit, not here. That’s strike two.

Now that you mention it, those two guys were way too close. Race even lived in the Quest mansion, didn’t he?

Dude, it’s a freakin cartooon.

Bobby from King of The Hill
or The Tick.

the Quest compound, in the Florida Keys (suspiciously close to Key West).

Wish I could take credit for this idea, but Harvey Birdman on Adult Swim beat me to it…

You guys are all wrong. The best president would be Hank Scorpio. He even has his own theme music.

Mighty Mouse! Here he comes to save the day!

Let’s pick the cabinet too. Mr Natural to run the FDA!
