John Galt?
George Liquor from Ren and Stimpy (and other Spumco cartoons)
Popeye voted for Trump, having used many similar tactics in his 1956 campaign
Yosemite Sam voted for Trump, gotta get rid of those varmits.
Wile E Cyote voted for Trump, simple, practical solutions out of the box.
Jessica Rabbit voted for Trump, she recognise a sugar daddy when she sees one and loves the man who makes her laugh.
Dan Fielding voted for Trump, because he reflexively votes Republican since he wants lower taxes. Nobody else on Night Court did.
Alex P. Keaton also did, and for the same reason. Nobody else on Family Ties did.
Nobody on the Cosby Show voted for Trump. Claire Huxtable gets downright hostile when “that man” is even mentioned.
Much to my disappointment, Cliff Claven voted for Trump, for reasons that only make sense to him. Surprisingly, so did Carla - she likes how he talks. But Norm didn’t - as a numbers guy, Norm thinks Trump is an idiot. Neither did Sam (surprisingly “woke” - his women have rubbed off on him). Don’t even ask about Diane.
Just checked and, yep, Sonny Crockett also voted Trump.
Every named character in Confederacy of Dunces, except Dorian Greene who is too savvy and too gay. Trump would have Ignatius’s emphatic approval, but his zeal would unwittingly and inerrantly bring about Trump’s karmic ruination.
Both Muriel and Eustace Bagge would vote Trump. Muriel would be blind to his faults, but would regret his inhumane policies. Eustace would buy his canard, never admit he’s being screwed over, and would delight in misery of others, so a definite second term. Courage would immediately see Trump for what he is and oppose him, but cannot vote because he’s a dog.
I don’t see it. He may “want” freedom, but he needs rules.
Absolutely not. See my post #51.
Larry, Daryl and Daryl. And Chrissy from Three’s Company.
Ren for Trump; Stimpy for Hillary.
The banjo-playing geek from Deliverance.
j. Jonah jameson
I would say ‘Gordon Gekko’ from ‘Wall Street’ would arguably be a Trump voter, but then again, maybe he kinda’ was Trump circa 1985.
I don’t think Bender would vote for Trump. Bender is proud of his Mexican heritage; he’d take umbrage at Trump’s remarks about Mexicans in the US, including in New New York.
I don’t think the Wongs would vote for Trump, either, assuming they could vote. (Do the Wongs have Martian citizenship?) Because their principal concern is their wealth, they’d fear the economic instability Trump would bring. The tariffs would definitely work against them, too. (The Wongs might do something like contribute money to both Democrats and Republicans at each election and then be quiet about whom they actually voted for. That way, no matter who wins, the Wongs have a sympathetic ear in the White House. I think Mom might follow a similar strategy.)
Zoidberg would think that, if Trump could stand as a candidate, so could Zoidberg. He’d mount his own last-minute campaign and urge everyone to write in votes for him. After all, why not Zoidberg? (He would, of course, be bitterly disappointed when he lost by a huge margin and didn’t get a single electoral vote.)
I agree completely with your assessment of what Zapp Brannigan, Amy Wong, Leela, Fry, and Bevis and Butthead would do. Though I’m not sure Bevis and Butthead are of voting age, so maybe what they would have to do is nothing.
Nixon’s head wouldn’t vote for Trump, if only because Nixon wouldn’t want Trump to cut back on the EPA, the agency that Nixon started.
Farnsworth wouldn’t vote for Trump. Trump’s desire to throttle science communication and yank funding for research would be enough to lose Farnsworth’s vote.
New New York’s Santa would vote for Trump. Santa would be all about working for ICE in the non-holiday season.
The elves would be divided. Some might vote for Trump, since previous administrations have ignored the elves’ horrible working conditions. Others would take Trump’s use of un- or semi-regulated third world labor into account and figure that the elf community would be even worse off under a Trump administration.
Trump would admire Lrrr, ruler of the planet Omicron Persei 8, the same way he admires Putin but I have good feeling Lrrr would eventually tire of Trump and disintegrate him in fit of rage.
As for the sewer mutants, Trump would probably round them in detention camps if they came to the surface.
I think The Horrible Gelatinous Blob might be a Trump voter.
Calculon would probably vote him as well because they are both pompous asses and Calculon is very susceptible to flattery.
Godzilla would not just vote for Trump, it’d be on his cabinet… or most likely stationed at the Mexican border, along with the Beast from 20,000 Fathoms.
Isn’t Godzilla Japanese, though? If Trump were going to outsource border patrol, he’d pick monsters from a country where labor is cheaper.
I don’t know whether Godzilla is technically Japanese. He came from somewhere in the ocean, so I guess he has international citizenship. Anyway, it seems he’s been unemployed for quite a while, so he’ll work for cheap.
Book Varys was pulling the strings to get a benevolent leader in that would support the small folk. Again, not a chance in hell he’d support Trump or Putin (wtf?).
Mike and Frankie Heck are Trump’s dream demographics.
Axl Heck is either a Trumpite from the start, or a Bernie Bro who votes for Trump after Clinton “steals the nomination”
Sue Heck votes for Hillary. She was conservative and sheltered in high school but become much more liberal in college.
Brick is too young to vote in 2016 but detests Trump for his anti-intellectualism.
Richard Castle is so liberal he’d probably do videos supporting Hilary. He’s very generous with his money and he lives in New York, where the Trump vote was very low. It’s fairly likely he’s actually met Trump and probably didn’t like him.
Because of the location, again, it’s unlikely many of them voted Trump. Esposito, no way. Ryan is a long term democrat. Molly would have actively campaigned for Hilary and persuaded her Grandma to join in, but Martha might actually have voted Trump. Beckett is another long-term democrat. Gates would know Hilary personally and vote for her.
Rizzoli would vote Trump and be very vocal about it. Isles would also be vocal about Hilary. They’d have massive arguments about it and possibly even stop being friends for a while. Mrs Rizzoli would probably vote Trump even though she actually also likes Hilary for being a strong woman. Frankie might have been too torn to even vote at all.
Korsak might vote Trump and then regret it, or he’d double down.
Frost would definitely never have voted Trump and would have been depressed that some of his friends did.
NCIS - Ziva, much as I love her, might have voted Trump for his support of Israel (she’s a naturalised citizen, so has a vote). Tony would have been Hilary all the way, long term Democrat family and he likes strong women. Gibbs would never have told anyone who he was voting for. Probably not Hilary, but could well have been third party. He would not have liked the grab 'em by the pussy stuff. Vance would not have voted Trump - he’s black, and also pretty smart. Hilary for him. His wife would have made him sleep on the sofa if he voted Trump so he’d vote Hilary in her memory. McGee is obviously Hilary.
Dexter - he wouldn’t have voted. Debra would be either strongly Hilary or strongly Trump, no fence-sitting.
Big Bang Theory:
Howard might have been tempted by Trump, especially because he quite likes the idea of grabbing women by the pussy being acceptable, and he likes the support of Israel. But he also dislikes the anti-science stuff. Bernie would vote Trump and that would persuade him. All the others who had a vote would vote Hilary and be appalled that their friends didn’t. Penny’s family would vote Trump, and so would Sheldon’s, and they’d bon over having to go to parties and try not to argue with their Trumpist relatives.
Brooklyn 99:Most of them voted Hilary. New York, again, and a lot of minorities, and the characters are unrealistically liberal. Gina might have said she was voting Trump and campaigned loads for him, saying she loves all the things he says about minorities and women, and then voted Hilary and said she was actually doing a clever anti-Trump campaign all along. Or she might have done the opposite. If anyone was willing to pay her to campaign she’d campaign for them but her actual vote might be different.
Amy would have been so pro-Hilary she actually put people off, especially Diaz. Diaz would then have voted third party, if she voted at all.
Hitchcock and Scully would have voted Trump, although they might have accidentally voted for someone else.
