Which fictional characters would vote for Trump?

Kelsey Grammer may be an outspoken conservative, but Frasier is definitely a Clinton voter.

Niles, also definitely Clinton.

Roz, as a transplant to Seattle from the Midwest is less liberal than the Crane brothers. I see her as a moderate to center right voter, but she’d never vote for Trump. She could never get past his attitudes towards women. She also voted for Clinton.

Martin was probably on the fence and didn’t really like either candidate. It’s hard to say with him but I think in the end he probably held his nose and voted for Clinton, too.

Can Daphne vote? I can’t remember if they established whether she is a naturalized citizen or a green card holder. But since she’s from the UK she’s used to single payer healthcare and probably thinks it’s crazy that we don’t have it here. So if she can vote it was probably for Clinton.

Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe is definitely a Trumper. He makes sexist jokes on his radio show and off the air. He probably thought the “grab 'em by the pussy” comment was funny.

I don’t watch enough current shows, so I’ll pick a few older shows, where the characters are both American and most likely still alive.

Thomas Magnum and Rick voted trump. TC I’m not sure, but I’d nope not.

Both Rick and AJ Simon are full on trumpers.

The Big Guy Mr Carlson and his mama (were she still alive) voted trump, but I doubt anyone else on staff did.

You know McGarrett (either incarnation) does, and maybe Danny Williams, but I suspect not Kono and Chin.

I sadly agree Mike Heck does.

Man, when you look at this, it really taints a lot of good old shows. They really are everywhere.

I’ll stick to sci fi. You KNOW no one on the Enterprise (any incarnation) would vote trump. They’d send him off for treatment. And frankly neither would the Klingons not Romulans, Cardassians, if given the opportunity.

eta: you know, this never was an issue before, except for maybe Nixon or Goldwater. Do we know if Jim West voted for Grant, or earlier for Lincoln? It was never a question. It never affected anything. West respected the office of the President.

Did Napoleon Solo vote for Nixon? Jim Phelps? Andy Taylor? Lou Grant?

Hank Hill would have a crisis of conscience. Red Forman would support him initially, then vote McMullin in the end.

Simpsons: Homer would never vote, but the one time I remember him doing so he (tried to) vote for Obama and it didn’t turn out well, while Abe likes Ike. Burns would probably write in Wilhelm II.

Not been watching for awhile? There’s a canonical answer - Garrison IS Trump. I don’t remember who is all supporting him, but back in 2003, we know who is Republican (Jimbo, Ned, Skeeter, Kenny’s dad) and who is Democrat (Mackey, the Marshes, although Randy is an asshole about it, the Brovloskis).

Book Varys or show Varys? The book one would support Trump as it means upsetting the current order, and he would certainly deep state with Putin. Show at the beginning has some compassion, although very much ends justify the means. So head of DNC. Late show Varys only exists as a foil for penis jokes so it doesn’t matter how he votes.

I read that book prior to the election, and it gave me an approximation of PTSD then. I can’t imagine what it would do to me now.

(I’ve had PTSD, so I know what I’m talking about.)

“Madam Secretary”'s Russell Jackson, played by Zeljko Ivanek, would totally be a Trump man and no way would he support Elizabeth McCord for president, no matter what her politics may be.

Anthony Fremont (Twilight Zone, “It’s a Good Life”): Definitely Trump. In fact, he’d send half the country (especially illegals) to the cornfield.

What does “No villains” mean? A vote for him MAKES one a villain.

Also, Oliver Warbucks.

Futurama

I think Zapp Branigan would vote for Trump. Hell he would probably administer the Oath of Office if he could.
I think Mr And Mrs Wong would too(all they seem to care about is their wealth). MOM(of Mom’s Robots) would too. I could see Bender vote for Trump too(unless Trump said something robophobic that pissed Bender off).

I don’t think Amy Wong or Leela would vote him; they both would proabably be disgusted by him.

As Fry, I don’t know. Unless Leela reminded him to vote, there’s a good choice he just sit on the couch all day drinking Slurm before remembering it was Election Day.

I don’t what Zoidberg would do either.
Beavis & Butthead

I got good feeling both of them would be to high or wasted to realize it’s even Election Day.

I think Zoidberg would vote for Trump if he promised to create more jobs for doctors who are poor for some reason. Then he’d become disillusioned when he tried to build a wall between Earth and his home planet. He’d be like “When he said he didn’t like aliens I didn’t think he meant me.”

Hermes would do a very careful analysis and vote for Trump after determining his tax plan would be good for Planet Express’s profits.

I don’t know what Prof. Farnsworth would do.

And Trump dies after Littlefinger has poisoned Pence, created even more chaos than the Mangled Apricot Hellbeast, and persuades Trump to make him vice president.

Just Asking Questions, I think Herb would be stupid to vote for Trump. I think Les might also. I agree with you about Mrs. Carlson, but her son was always portrayed as a decent sort. He might be repelled by Trump. I wouldn’t be sure about Jennifer either.

Totally disagree on Tony Stark. Yeah, he’s a rich-ass military dude, but he’s also really smart and has very little patience for bullshit or stupidity; and by Civil War, he’s torn up over the effects of concentrating power too much in one person/group, and wants to put the Avengers under UN control. He’d fucking hate Trump for a multitude of reasons.

Also Leroy Jenkins.

Fry would vote for Clinton because Leela was supporting her, and Fry wants Leela to be happy. But like you say, Leela would have to remind him to go vote.

Professor Farnsworth I think might go for Trump. It just seems like someone who would own a doomsday device would probably be a Trump supporter.

Lazarus Long probably would out of sheer perversity.

Definitely Ebenezer Scrooge, pre-Christmas. Total lack of empathy for the poor. I wouldn’t call him a villain since he does reform.

He’s British, he can’t vote for trump. Foreigners and dead people can only vote Democrat.

But he supports trump surrogate Boris Johnson. And he’s for Brexit.

Pulp Fiction:

Mia Wallace - Voted for Trump
Marsellus Wallace - Voted for Trump
Honey Bunny - Voted for Trump
Ringo - Voted for Trump
Jules - Didn’t vote
Vincent - Voted for Trump
Gimp - Voted Libertarian
Lance - Voted Hillary after “the one with all the shit on her face” made him
The Wolf - Surprisingly, voted Hilary. Only because he liked her perceived style of crookedness more than Trump’s
Jimmie - Didn’t make it to 2016 for making the mistake of saying “Dead N- storage” one too many times

:smack::smack::smack: Yes, Stan (not Steve).

Steve would vote for the candidate favored by whatever girl he was hoping for a chance with. Hailey would vote for anyone or anything BUT Trump.

Francine might pretend to vote for El Cheeto to appease Stan, but would not actually do so.

Roger, now, he’d vote for Trump right along with Stan if he could.

Roger would turn out to be Trump.

I’m not convinced Trump isn’t one of Roger’s characters.

(Oops…should have read the thread more carefully.)
