Which fictional characters would vote for Trump?

I don’t think Bill Dautrive (from King of the Hill) would vote for Trump. He’s pretty soft-hearted. I don’t know if Fair Rarity remembers this but Bill had a fling with Texas governor Ann Richards, a Democrat. He definitely is down with powerful ladies.

South Park

Mr. Mackey, Chef, and the Broflovski’s would be Clinton voters. Everyone else, including Garrison, would be Trump voters. Mrs. Cartman would probably have been a Clinton voter, but Eric would probably convince her to vote Trump.

Larry Tate, Bewitched. Forget about witch hunts, he couldn’t see a witch right in front of him.

Sergeant O’Hara, Batman. Beatin’ up the bad guys be right up his street.

Homer Simpson. Dumb as a rock and works in a nuke plant.

Ward Cleaver, Leave it to Beaver. Probably never encountered a minority in his life. Kept his wife in heels and pearls all day.

Mr. Haney, Green Acres. Consumer protection laws? Who needs them?

Jed Clampett, Beverly Hillbillies. Finds oil and immediately contaminates the nearby ground. Screw the EPA.

Ted Baxter, Mary Tyler Moore. Only watches one station’s news, and doesn’t understand it.

Mr. Dithers, Blondie. Abuses his employees, physically and mentally.

No Way. The Mayor may have been evil, and wanted to turn into a giant snake and eat the graduating class, but he still had manners, and considered rudeness to be a sin. There’s no way he’d support a no-class brute like Trump.

Kenneth: “I don’t vote Republican or Democrat. Choosing is a sin, so I always just write in the Lord’s name!”
Jack: “That’s Republican, we count those.”

Steve Smith from American Dad.

I win.

Tywin and Cersei Lannister, Game of Thrones.

The Big Bang Theory parents:

Mary Cooper would vote Trump, because of her evangelical beliefs
Mr. Farrah Fowler wouldn’t, but Mrs. Farrah Fowler is a bitter prude, so she would
Mr. Rostenkowski would vote Trump because of his law enforcement background, and Mrs. Rostenkowski would follow his lead because she’s kind of spineless
Beverly Hofstader is too intelligent to vote Trump, and her ex, Mr. Hofstader, is too kind to do so
Mrs. Wolowitz, were she still alive, would not vote Trump, though I can’t think of a good reason why
Penny’s parents (we still don’t know their last name!) - you got me. Maybe Trump voters, because they’re from the midwest.

Hell, Trump is Windrip!

Not a chance Varys votes Trump. He’s all about helping the people and not dumb enough to fall for Trump’s rhetoric.

Littlefinger though, absolutely. He campaign for him and joins the administration.

I knew Ayn Rand. She - and all of her heroes - would absolutely NOT vote for Trump. They would have nothing but contempt for him and his entire administration.

Obviously, they wouldn’t have voted for Hillary either. Nor any Libertarian candidate.

Trump supporters would have included James Taggart, Wesley Mouch, Robert Stadler, Ellsworth Toohey, and many others.

Isn’t he the emotional little kid who routinely disappoints Stan Smith?

Wasn’t there a King of the Hill episode in which Hank had to get over George W. Bush’s weak handshake in order to vote for him? I’m sure he could get over Trump’s charred steaks. I would like to think Trump’s sociopathy might give him pause, just because Hank has always reminded me a little bit of my dad, but no other qualms were raised in the Bush episode, so…

Varys would have been pulling strings to make Clinton the democratic nominee out of a mistaken belief that she was the one who could defeat Trump. Littlefinger would have been working with the Russians.

Fred Mertz… but not Ethel, Lucy or Ricky.

I knew there was some useless KOTH trivia knocking around in my brain, nameless, faceless. Thanks for bringing all the loose pieces back to a coherent unit.

And I was very happy to see that a Simpsons producer sided with me on Homer

I see Peggy Hill voting for Trump, but not Hank. Peggy has no critical thinking skills, blindly follows fads, is egotistical & prone to self-delusion, and would easily be manipulated by fake news. Hank is the opposite. He’d see Trump as a con artist. He’s also not blind to Buck Strickland’s moral failings and Trump’s are much worse and more public. The bragging about sexual assault and attacking Gold Star families in particular would be just too much for him. He’d either end up holding his nose and voting for Hillary or voting 3rd party (he wouldn’t be able to just not vote.)

As for the Clampetts, if the movie counts then they’d probably vote for Cousin Bill’s wife just because she’s kin.

Warden Norton from Shawshank.

Pete Ross.

I’ve done this one with friends. I think you’re on base with most but I disagree with a few.

I think Phyllis would go Democrat, mostly BECAUSE Bob Vance is Republican. I can picture her talking about how it “keeps things spicy”.

I think Stanley would be on the fence, or maybe even a Trumper. It would be a fun episode.

Oscar is not only a Democrat, he would be actively campaigning for the candidate. And Gabe would definitely be a Democrat and maybe even a campaign volunteer. Karen would be a Democrat.

Aside from those, I agree with your analysis.

Mike Baxter, Tim Allen’s character on Last Man Standing.
Tim The Tool Man Taylor, Tim Allen’s character on Home Improvement.

My reasoning is that Tim Allen is an outspoken conservative, and in the case of Baxter, an effort has been made to specifically portray him as conservative.

Possibly Mike Heck from The Middle, simply for being a rural, Red State, salt-of-the-earth kind of guy. But he also had a daughter with an openly gay BFF, and a son in Special Ed, so maybe he was begrudgingly liberal.
