And how are we to guage their effectiveness? Was this a fuel efficient means of planet cracking? Any over-time premium involved?
If we’re going to wage war in space, we really need to look at the hard numbers!

Haggis. With neeps and tatties, and a nice single-malt to finish it off.
Oh please. Vader could crush the Borg with one clench of his fist.
Two Words - Star Trek. Is Way Better.
No, we got Han Solo. ::swoon::
Space: 1999 has got the Eagles which seem more plausable than the Vipers but Battlestar alactica has the neato Cylon voices but those guys must have a tremendous headache. I mean you try looking back and forth quickly for extended periods.
Sorry I digress to answer the OP The Six million dollar man was way better than the Bionic woman.
<Grabs pepper by her lapels> TELL ME MORE!
It takes him a minute or two to kill one onle Admiral, how’s he gonna handle millions of drones?
Trek in a cakewalk.
Vader schmader. Trek has the Organians, the Talosians, the Melkots, the Greco-Roman gods, the Douwd, the Prophets, the Q, and others I’m surely forgetting.
If only Star Trek could find a villian as cool as Vader. Life would be perfect.
Is it just me, but does both the “old” Starw Wars and Star Trek stuff get better with age and newer stuff sets new standards for over production?
Trek.
It’s just you. You ever watch TOS?
I mean “a rock the size of a basketball”. In ST:FC, the Borg fire at a planet. The resulting shots create explosions that look like a stick of TNT going off. Pathetic, just downright pathetic, really.
Star Trek is fantasy. Pure, unadulterated fantasy. There’s not an ounce of science in it.
Seen 'em all. I’m talking about the whole thing.
Were you talking to me?
Nope… was talking to mudpupper, Li’l Miss World Revolves Around Me.
Well, if you’d clarify things like that, some of us wouldn’t be so confused.
Then again…
There’d been no confusion if you had posted more than one word and let my post go through first.
You harbinger of unrepenting TrekGeekitude.
We are one.
Trek has PHASERS! What the HELL?
Wars has blasters and LIGHTSABERS!
Oh, and we have Ewan McGregor. And James Earl Jones, Sir Alec Guiness, Sir Christopher Lee, Ian McDiamid, Harrison Ford and Sir Peter Cushing.
You guys just have Patrick Stewart.
and Kim Cattrall (STVI:TFF)
