I am a Pit thread survivor, I endured the brutal assault with the quiet reserve and dignity characteristic of Texans. Yes, it left scars, a cruel and public vivisection like mine, it could hardly be otherwise. I’ve even been banned, albeit briefly. Even to this day, remembering the enclosing darkness, the suffocation of despair leaves me trembling like a tasered chihuahua.
Stay strong, Elvish! The dark flames of the Pit will purge the dross and temper the steel of your resolve! Either that, or leave you a shattered and wretched ruin, groveling and simpering for the slightest sign of approval. Only time will tell.

One guy doesn’t like widespread gun ownership and is fairly obnoxious about it. Another guy, the OP, does and is equally obnoxious. The argument has gotten a bit personal. The OP seems to believe that he’s made some kind of airtight argument by suggesting that the reason other guy doesn’t own any guns is because if he did, he’d be tempted to immediately go out and shoot some people. The other guy, sensibly, I think, has so far refused to rise to the bait.

You could, if you’re being charitable, read it as a desperate plea for help.
Or, being more realistic, it means you can add obsessive stalkerism to anger control issues, gun fetishism, and, most disturbingly, violent pedophilia to the toxic stew of reasons to expect **Scumpup **to, well, suddenly disappear from the board some day. Most of his other demonstrated problems (including, here, incoherence) only affect himself, thankfully.
