Yeah, class of '00. Small world, ain’t it.
Fox Television…repeats of the past hits/homers of the guy at bat…sometimes you were missing the “real” game while they were showing these annoying replays and you could get confused, "was that a homer? Oh…no, that was a replay from game 1 with the Angels…was that a hit? Oh, no…that was a replay from game 3 with…and they they would cut to the “real game” and suddenly there was a run scored. And hey would show the instant replay of the real game, but you were not sure if it was for this game or game 2 or whatever.
I hate Fox.
Still…YEAH WHITE SOX!
No kidding. I find it interesting that Fox has avoided any blame for ratings. They use the most annoying announcers and graphics, drag the games out with extra long commercial breaks, cram in promos during the game, and then blame the game itself for ratings. Geez, why don’t they look in the mirror.
mr bus guy, I wanted to bump this to tell you that I just received my 2002 York Creek Vineyard Tempranillo. 2002 is the Giants’ last appearance in the Fall Classic, and York Creek Winery is owned by Anchor Brewing, located right here in San Francisco.
Plus, I made sure to get a red.
When the Giants win the World Series, I shall have to give your idea a doff of the champagne-soaked cap.
