LMBO! This should go down into SD Classics.
I long for the day Girl AnchorSpokesHeads wore collared shirts and somber, well-cut blazers, with trousers or a conservative skirt.
IOW, I’d really like it if they were clothed like their male counterparts instead of Macy’s “Spring Fling” mannequins.
Come to think of – like Rachel Maddow!

Thank you for brightening my day with that photo.
I’d speculate Fox has guidelines for what their on air talent wears. The dresses the women wear are always similar. Just above the knee. Which is family appropriate and a bit sexy too. The dresses have high necklines. No exposed cleavages to upset the viewers.
I think Kim Guilfoyle missed the memo. Her hems are much higher, which is why Fox puts her in the “leg chair” at the table on “The Five”.
I have. The women were also hugely pregnant, and this was in an era when women did not wear form-fitting maternity clothes.
As for the OP, I don’t watch Fux so I wouldn’t know.
I don’t have any direct evidence, but I assume it’s the Fashion Director

Seriously. I was watching the US Open and there are three male sportscasters in suits and one female sportscaster in a hot pink sheath dress. It was on Fox Sports – hmm, I see a pattern. Surely on a golf broadcast, the woman could wear a pantsuit or trousers and a blouse.
