So, thanks to Joost, I just watched the complete series run of the live action The Tick (and I must say that Captain Liberty is hawt like the torch weilding justice that she dispenses) It’s a shame that Fox created this show just so they could kill it. (But then, I suppose it wouldn’t be Fox if they didn’t do that.) Those of you looking to fill the empty voids created in your life by the writer’s strike, should consider The Tick as a way to fill that vacuum of emptiness which has come to visit.
I have had the hots for Liz Vassey for as long as I can remember. She has a stunning smile.
In case y’all were unaware, Liz Vassey now has a recurring supporting role on CSI. She’s one of the “lab rats”. She was featured prominently in two episodes (one last season and one this season): Lab Rats (Season 7) & You Kill Me (Current Season).
Just wanted to help.

I’m sorry, but no one is hot enough to make me watch that (or any of the other CSIs) crap voluntarily. Even ignoring how hysterically bad the science is on those shows, the writing is so awful (as well as much of the acting) that the only way I could handle it is by consuming near lethal amounts of alcohol.
The live-action version of The Tick was good, but the cartoon was better.
Yes, but that’s because Fox didn’t give them the budget for the episodes that they needed. Had Fox not been ran by the soulless bastards that they are, they’d have ponied up a decent chunk of change, and then we’d have gotten a live action The Tick that was to die for!
Seems odd to make a live action version when the cartoon didn’t exactly become a best seller…
It ran for 3 seasons, which is 2.5 more than the live action version got. (And I’ve heard interviews with Patrick Warburton where he said that Fox deliberately killed The Tick, because they wanted to do another “reality” show. )
