If Walker or Rubio somehow get the nomination, their position on abortion will sink them. I don’t believe I have EVER heard a politician not at least reluctantly support abortion to save the life of the mother. I am pro-life, but that is a ridiculously extreme position. I am also concerned with this new “conservative judicial activism” of giving 14th amendment rights to the unborn. It is clearly unsupported and unnecessary. Abortion will be the same importance in this election as in all of the others: not much at all unless you insert your foot in your mouth. Rubio and Walker did in a very bad way.
Rubio said everyone in the US should be given rights, even if they don’t have birth certificates. I thought “how about undocumented immigrants?”
They do have rights. Just not the right to stay in the US.
