Well I didn’t think it was disappearing on purpose. I can’t see anything wrong with it that would merit it’s deleting. Am I missing something obvious?

Yes, it’s disappearing on purpose. The author of that post is a troll who haunts ATMB, just waiting to spread misinformation about the SDMB and/or its moderators. If you see a post disappear, assume that it’s disappearing for a reason.
