I’m sure there is a poster that has been here forever with some obscure user id (e.g. __cxkEagle or something), with only about 200 posts, but each and every one is like a laser guided missile, striking at the very heart of the issue.

I think you’re making Liberal worse than he was. He wasn’t particularly weird, he was intelligent, litterate and used cogent arguments (though I never tried to understand his numerous posts about the ontological argument or otherwise philosophy-related).
FTR, he was the first person I argued with here, since he had responded to my very first post, making me realize that libertarians existed for real (unobvious for an European).
