As long as we are listing Dopers to look for on the positive side:
Qadgop the Mercotan (QtM), Hal Briston , Maureen and **Twickster ** are great choices, I open their threads if I see their name.
For Science look for Stranger on the Train , **Jshore ** and Colibri , they are both brilliant and nice.
For baseball look for RickJay . Always learn a lot in a baseball thread that he is in.
For interesting History related stuff, I recommend threads started by Elendil’s Heir .
For humorous limericks and rythmes look for **EddyTeddyFreddy ** (ETF)
