I watched my new Sin City DVD last night with some friends, and did a double take in the scene that shows the mounted heads on the wall at the farm.
“Wait, was that Sarah Michelle Gellar?!”
We backed up a bit, and sure enough, the rightmost one is the mounted head of Buffy. She’s not listed in the full credits list on IMDB, and, though the question has been asked of Google Answers, no answer is yet forthcoming.
The question on Google Answers expired unanswered, probably because of the low price. Few GA Researchers are willing to take on a project like this in order to earn $1.50 (the Researcher’s share of a $2.00 fee).
I checked and I don’t think it is Sarah Michelle Gellar, though it looks somewhat like her. In the close shot(25:31 on my DVD), it doesn’t look exactly like her, and we can see the “rose tattoo” girl next to her.
One second later(25:32), in the wide shot, we can still see the rose tatto girl and it does look rather like Buffy. I think the close shot makes it clear it is not her, however.
Heh. No, but if Dopers answer wrongly, they don’t suffer any penalty. If a Google Answers Researcher’s answer is rejected by the customer, the GAR’s answer profile reflects this. Too many refunds, and we lose our answering privileges. As far as I know, Dopers are permitted an unlimited number of wild-ass guesses without being excommunicated.
