I got a mysterious e-mail from this address and have a sneaking suspicion that the individual is a member of this board. Anyone know who this is?
Well, it certainly isn’t me.
Was it a mash note?
A mash note? I don’t know what tht is. The subject was “oink, oink.” The sender tried to include some GIF file but it didn’t come through.
I am assuming it was in response to my pit article about women being nags, but I can’t be sure.
It’s not me. I only mention this because this board is swarming with persons with great memories, and someone might remember that my last name is Sweet. Highly doubtful, but possible. All the same, I would rather not be on the defensive.
Definitely a mash note. (aka love note)
I also have “Sweet” in my name, and it is also not me. (I’m on Hotmail anyway!)
Sweet Basil
Zam: if you don’t know who sent you a file attached in e-mail, please don’t download it.
Monty, our filter caught the attachment, so I couldn’t download it if I wanted to.
Gee, and all I seem to get is rolrgrrl@hotmail.com sending me an exclusive link to www.slut-a-rama.com…

I have to say that I’m more than a little uncomfortable with this thread in that it is looking identification of a specific person. I know that you didn’t mean it the way I’m seeing it, Mr. Zambezi, but rather that you hoped the person who is attached to the email would pipe up and say, “Hey, that’s me!.” But as you know, SDMB members are a resourceful bunch, and I’d hate to see a big-ol’ web search and perhaps a privacy invasion come out of your innocent question.
So I’m going to close this thread. If you suspect that the email came in response to a BBQ Pit thread, perhaps you could ask in that thread whether someone sent you an email.
