Who ordered this MMP?

REPENT! THE END IS NEAR![SUP]100[/SUP]
But in case it is not, I have the sheets in the washer. I love having a functioning washer and dryer at home.

Congrats on Ariel, WetOne.

The Simply brand is good - I like their limeade. But my preference in squeezed citrus juices is Florida’s Natural Ruby Red Grapefruit.
re your letter, Who are you and what have you done with our Bobbio?

We are being told to prepare for a hurricane. Lucky I don’t have a ton of preps to do at my location. At home is a different story.

Good luck.

Thanks for the well wishes & appendage crossin’. Job interview was ok, I am not qualified for the full time position but they will call be back Friday if they want me for the part time…

Sunny, How about Sweeping the Clouds Away  That’s all I got.

Be careful!

In my best Carnac prediction, I do believe Ruble will be coming East very soon!

Sunny add me to the list of people voting for Sunny Daze and Day Star, although I couldn’t tell you which one I like better.

Midget, what did you do to your tongue? Lick a flagpole in the winter?

ruble, I’m glad your arm didn’t fall off.

sari, not all sushi has raw seafood. Heck, some of it is vegetarian. Sushi is actually referring to the rolled rice wrapped around other stuff.

sunny, I like sunny daze.

A nice letter from bobbio? What’s the world coming to? (BTW, Mexican CocaCola or CocaCola that is kosher for Passover will do the same trick with a caffeine kicker. )

Stay safe, butters.

Today, I’m trying to get Finance, Transportation and Operations to speak the same language to each other. :smack:

I hate it when that happens. Maybe he can become the entertaining friend that you feed new conspiracy theories to?

Wet One Yay! So happy for you both! And jealous. Also jealous. Someday I will follow in your footsteps…

quietly feel betters. Hope it was a fun night.

OK - I have my list of names and I’m taking it to Ed. I will lead with Sunny Daze and Day Star. We’ll see if anythng passes the Great Master[sup]TM[/sup]. Thank you everyone!

ETA - Butters - good luck with hurricane!!!

Howdy. I was a bear who lunches (N.O.L.) again today. Met a friend at the <snerk>Quickie!<snerk>. We both had patty melts. They make good patty melts.

Butters be safe! Here’s hopin’ the hurricane misses y’all.

Pearl glad the interview went well. Appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed re the job offer.

Diggerland sounds like an amusement park I’d like.

Butters, you have a mainland escape route planned out?

Batboy, 9-11 truthers are a rare breed these days, see if you can get him hooked on the Kennedy assasinaton, that one has been going strong for 54 years and shows no sign of ending…

Random poundings and sawing all day as the contractors work on the outside of the house. One of the guys has Gout in his toe, looks painful but he’s working through it. I’m supplying bottled water and bathroom breaks as needed, it’s hot out there. They are also going to give me a price for replacing my windows, I had planned on doing the roof this year, but if they fit my budget I may move the roof job back to 2017.

Electric guy fixed the problem with the door opener, but also found several other things not up to spec (big surprise), and since I’m in a 'fix it up" mode, let him go ahead and do it…$600 bucks gone bye-bye.

And of course now the dishwasher is acting up, it stops in about 3/4 of the way through the wash cycle and just stays there; plus, its been hanging loose for several months (screws fell out). So looks like a trip to Best Buy may be in my near-term future…the joys of home ownership.

**MetalMouse **- did you commit the fatal error of mentioning (in the presence of your assorted appliances) that you had some spare money with which you intended to have fun? That’ll make 'em all immediately commit electronic suicide. It’s like telling someone, as you’re driving along, “This car has been great - never breaks down on me.” You know you’re asking for it!!!

I know it’s probably too late to vote, but I like Sunny Daze the best.

And now back to work for the last hour of my day. Busy Busy Busy!!

If ordered to evacuate our spot is Orlando or within 150 miles of Orlando. My job will pay for me to go including a place to stay, regular paycheck, per diem. If my house gets destroyed they will even put me up until if gets fixed, etc. I don’t want to have to leave. I would just like a small blow with some wind and lots of rain. I don’t want the power to go out. I could use a couple days off with pay.

Good luck and stay safe Butters.

MetalMouse, I haven’t even been here two years yet and I have a list of things I want done. As the pic of my flowers showed, I need a new fence. New basement stairs come before that though. I want a new bathtub. All in time though. I can only do so much at a time.

Ugh.

So I was trying to do something that is actually a violation of federal law. I have a savings account that I had to open when I got my car loan. We’ve been using it as a bill-paying account, which you can’t do because you’re limited to six transfers a month, and every time a payment is made, it counts as a transfer. :smack: I did not know this when I set all this stuff up, and I only found out about it when the payment for the sprog’s school tuition was returned.

I went to the credit union branch and sat down with the nice member services representative. She patiently explained how the whole thing works and set up a checking account; the transfer rules don’t apply to those and I can set payments up with the debit card and not have to worry about it anyway. We’re also going to change my car payments to bimonthly to maximize cash flow. She also refunded the bounced-transfer fee since the money was there and I was fixing the problem.

I love my credit union.

I guess it’s no more fresh tomatoes for me :frowning:

The other day when I ate one I got a scratchy throat. Last night I had one and my lips started swelling.
Of course, I have to keep pushing it and had a thick slice on a hamburger. I got the scratchy throat and my head, face, ears, and chest started itching.

Damn :frowning:

Nice! Banks are usually pretty snippy about those Reg D penalties on savings accounts.

I finally got the little slip of paper in the mail that my personalized license plates are ready, so I can pick them up at the DMV tomorrow. Fear not for my day’s schedule…I have an appointment!

I have Ben & Jerry’s Chawklit Fudge Brownie ice cream. All is good.

Rockin’ yay about the bank lady bein’ nice!

gotti I too have an appointment tomorrow. Mine is with a lawn mower, an edger, a leaf blower, and weed kill stuff. No rain today so I can get this done tomorrow. I don’t mind doin’ yahd stuff. It’s a chore and chores ain’t fun but it’s one I don’t mind so much.

I shall now return to eatin’ yummy ice cream.
