It has to be Armando Iannucci. In fact you can sort say he already did. The last season of Veep before he left in 2016, had a storyline where the politicos managed to get Jonah Ryan (most ridiculous over hyperbolic over-the-top ignorant, offensive, narcissist, incoherent, political character imaginable, and a fairly tame Trump allegory) elected to the senate despite his constant gaffs and obvious lack qualifications.
Yes! Another bankruptcy in a new field! Winning! In wide screen technicolor!
I think it should be directed by Leni Riefenstahl with Trump starring as himself once they’re both in the same, umm, place. An Old Scratch production, as it were, and the producer will be calling all the shots, not Trump. 
It’ll be a remake of the story of Jesus Christ.
