I like having highlights in my hair, or dying is bright daring red-other wise it’s a dull brown.

Ladies, the guy is just talking about what he likes and he quite likes roots (and, it seems, unravelling short jeans and hair hanging down). ** pezpunk, TheNerd, pldennison, ** and Dire Wolf share his taste / preference on the roots thing. That’s it! – at least in this thread, anyway.
Bill’s not inclined to agree with the popular perception of women showing their roots. I don’t particularly agree with him (that it doesn’t look good) but why not challenge that perception, especially given that the reason (for showing roots) might have more to do with money rather than taste (as he says) ?
Are the women here suggesting other women should, in part, be judged on who they are by their roots and / or their disposable income ?
I just don’t quite understand why the women are getting out of their chairs about what’s been said here unless it’s some cumulative effect from other threads. He’s only asking for views so I’m err…rooting for Bill on the merit of this thread

Wow, I have crooked teeth. They are crooked because I couldn’t bring myself to wear a brace when I was 13 because I didn’t want to give the bullies at my school who justified their existence by destroying my psyche and thus making their miserable lives meaningful yet another stick to beat me with. And I believe that it is too late now…there is an age limit on these things.
Oh so I should never smile apparantly. Hm.

Well… I’m new here… but my .02, I’m naturally blonde, but for as long as I can remember, my roots have been significantly darker. I’ve been told my hair is going to grow out into that near brown color, but the length of my roots never really changes. I have more problem being made fun of for actually just being blonde, than what color my roots are.
