Who Thinks Dark Roots Looks Good on a Blonde?

Waaaall, Ah gotcher tare-iron an’ beer raht heah, sweetcheeks!

I like it too. More visually interesting.

Well, my father has a missing tooth-it fell out when we didn’t have any dental insurance. And he has to find a chance to have it replaced. So I guess my dad should move to Arkansas?

Infectious Lass:

You might look into braces again; I’ve heard of adults who got 'em. Modern styles are much more inconspicuous than the old metal-band types.

Both the Little Rs have had/are going to have braces; two reasons:

  1. It’s one of the modern class-distinguishing marks. Straight teeth = upper middle class

  2. More important, to avoid future dental problems caused by bad bite.

It isn’t really that expensive; a couple grand, maybe; not much compared to a new car. I feel it’s certainly worth the money.

A couple grand may not sound like a lot to you, but just for braces?

Good lord almighty!!!

Gotta watch the braces deal. I did it. Unfortunately I have a soft stubborn mouth. It happily and easily moved to being straight and perfect under the influence of metal. Braces off, retainers done, it happily and easily moved back to what it was before.

That was fun. Useless, but mildly entertaining.

Hey Bill, okay I will smile since you say it is alright :)Kewl beans.

Rocketeer, I’m relieved to hear that braces can be an option for adults. So maybe I can change my life and my teeth also! (triumphant fanfare)
However, a ‘couple of grand’ is really more than I can afford at the moment. I have to agree with Guinastasia that that much for braces is just a tad excessive…

You might be able to get them on the NHS where I am in England though. Maybe things have changed since I was 13.

The dentist who offered me the braces and told me that there was an age limit on them was deliberately rude to me so he could get rid of me, the NHS patient, so he could deliberately concentrate on his lucrative private patients and so spend more time with his golf clubs.

And of course he made me cry.

It is probably a conspiracy.

Oh, you’re from England. In that case it’s fine if you have crooked teeth.

I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist the (obvious and stupid) joke. Don’t kill me.

ZZZAAAAP!!

Sorry you’re dead.

Ok, somebody’s stepping up to bat for WB. I think it looks sexy.

What I don’t like is the dishonesty; the attitude that you have to hide the fact that you’ve colored your hair, and that if you don’t, you’re trashy. I guess that’s something nice about living where everyone naturally has black hair: when you see a Japanese woman (or man) whose hair is brown, red, blond or green, it’s pretty obvious that it’s not real, so nobody tries to hide it or lie about it. As a result, there are a lot of people walking around here with black tops and colored sides, and they don’t look the least bit trashy.

Just my HO.
