Well, evilbeth already took Kate Winslet, so I’ll go with Reese Witherspoon. There’s no physical resemblence, but she’s roughly the same age, and I just love her.
I would have gone with Janeane Garofolo, but someone already got her, too.

I always thought if they ever did a movie of my life (egotistical, I know), that John Cusack would be a good choice. But since he’s been mentioned twice already, I’ll go with Ed Norton (with longer hair).
And since I’m relatively new here on SDMB, it would be in a cameo role.
In terms of resemblance, I have no idea. Other than Helena Bonham-Carter, since everyone says I look like her when my hair is curled. (I STILL don’t see it!) As far as personality goes, I’m probably one of those roles they’d try to shoehorn Christina Ricci into.

Actually I don’t look like John much… before I grew the beard I had a frightening resemblance to George Harrison in his early Beatles days.
