Thanks for the kind words, both in this thread and the other one. I’d love to meet you in Minnesota – except I live in Boston. Unfortunately, there’s no chance of my getting over there. I’d love to, though. The only time I was in Minneapolis I was there on business and didn’t get to see the city.
I DID go to the Boston Dopefest. Maybe we can old another sometime.
And I’ll keep an eye out for your popsts.
Yeesh…while I do like some of the Phillie players, I think there’s more hope for the Flyers or the 76ers (if Iverson would pass the ball and if Larry Brown will stick around long enough for them to contend, which he won’t) than the Phillies! (Not sure about the Eagles–that one could go either way.)
Well, Frannie, they won again! With an assist to Kent “Whatever you do, DON’T take a sack” Graham, of course.
It looks like I am really late. This would be a lot easier to mention the three posters who I most definately would not like to meet. Well, if you can’t guess them then I will keep quiet. I would really like to meet everyone who mentioned me earlier. Thanks and a big warm fuzzy out to you guys. Oh well, I am not going to write in the people here because I know I will leave too many out. I will start another thread about something else and see if that gets responses.
Right, that’s what happened here. I’d now like to officially add um . . . aw hell, who is this again? (checking the name on the post I’m quoting)
Right! I would now like to officially add iampunter to my list, because football players are always held in high regard to me and the punter is . . . oh, that’s iampunha?
What’s a punha? Oh well, he’s on the list anyway, he seems like a pretty cool guy.
And I suppose I ought to rejoin this three way, mutual admiration society with Iampunha and Crunchy Frog, by belatedly adding Crunchy Frog to my list, 'specially seeing how since the latter (when he was Bratman) had me on his list. Actually, I would have done so earlier, but I was trying to figure out which name** “the poster formerly known as Bratman” **became. I’d have guessed “Anthrax Ripple” or “The Bishop” myself.
I had a dream about you a while back. Or at least I dreamt about your name. I dreamt I was in a bookstore searching for anything written by Cal Meacham. I think you were supposed to be a Neil Gaiman-esque graphic novelist. Or maybe you were an artist. Anyway, I was looking for Sandman-type graphic novels with your name on them. I guess Cal Meacham just sounds like a good author-type name. Do you write? We have to meet now so we can analyze this further.
I can assure you that my love DRY is not interested in any kind of three-way anything with two men. Trust me. He was just being kind, as he always is, and indicating that he would like to meet the two of you. You can trust me on this.
I on the other hand, put the three of you on MY list, and…oh, never mind.
