I want to meet Scylla. He is so cool and smart and handsome. There is nobody on this board quite as good as him. I can’t beleive nobody mentioned him yet, because he is so cool.
There must be something wrong with you guys that you don’t want to meet him. Maybe you are afraid because you are not as good as him. Not as smart and cool and handsome. You must be afraid you won’t measure up.
I wonder how he got to be so cool? And how did he get to be so smart and handsome too?
I can’t wait to see him. I know all the girls will go crazy because he is so handsome and cool. The guys will be jealous because he is so cool and smart.

There are few I would want to meet, if I could ovecome my shyness… but I will not list them; I would inevitably leave someone out and feelings would be hurt.

I had a dream about you a while back. Or at least I dreamt about your name. I dreamt I was in a bookstore searching for anything written by Cal Meacham. I think you were supposed to be a Neil Gaiman-esque graphic novelist. Or maybe you were an artist. Anyway, I was looking for Sandman-type graphic novels with your name on them. I guess Cal Meacham just sounds like a good author-type name. Do you write? We have to meet now so we can analyze this further.
Sorry – I just stumbled across this now. I hope Gr8Kat reads this, because I’m flattered as heck. I AM a writer. My book is “Medusa: Solving the Mystery of the Gorgon”, published this year by Oxford University Press. And I reproduce an entire page from Neil Gaiman’s “Sandman” in my book! I’m not a graphic artist, though (although, if you want to see a sample of what can do go to my website at http://www.MedusaMystery.com The Gorgon mask is my handiwork. I wanted it to be he cover of my book, but it didn’t work out.)

I’ve not posted here up to this point because saying “everybody” didn’t seem to be in the spirit of the thread, and there are some folks that I don’t think I’d enjoy spending time with - partly due to personalities and partly due to completely different interests and attitudes. Then again, meeting someone is not the same as deciding to spend the rest of one’s life with that person… but I digress.

The one and only time I was in MN was 1971 - I was a courier of sorts for a summer job and I had to get some papers signed.
Alas, I can see neither business nor pleasure taking me to your neck of the woods. And since Jacksonville isn’t exactly a “destination” for Florida tourists, I suppose we’ll never know the pleasure of each other’s company. Damn the luck!
