This is a blatant solicitation for presents. I set up a small but tacky web site (see my home page) chronicling my marriage to Crunchy Frog. I would appreciate any and all tacky gifts. Please visit the site. Leave a description in the guest book & I will do my best to find a picture corresponding to said description & post it on the “Gifts Page”. If you already have a picture please feel free to e-mail it to me. Credit will be given to the best/most creative/tackiest gift at the end of this thread.
I guess I should add that I would never have thought of gifts if it wasn’t for Deb2world & my sister. Deb offered the first gift in the “Will you Virtually Marry Me?” thread. My sister saw my site change & sent me a picture of the ugliest things she could find & asked about a guest book.
(I refuse to post the fish she sent.)
Now, I just want to see what kind of gifts you would send to the virtual couple who really doesn’t need anything.
careful ** little*bit**. I used to “collect” items for a tacky gift catalog. Found some incredibly ugly, tasteless things. One, I thought was just incredible. I ranted about it for weeks.
went to my sister’s house, was telling her about it. Gee, Liz, you’ll never guess, I found this thing, it’s a wine decanter, see, you know the sort of thing one uses to pour wine into the guests glasses??? And it was ceramic, in the shape of a ** fish *! yep, it was called a “blue carp wine decanter” and it was kinda Oriental in style and the wine poured * out of it’s mouth!!! can you believe??!!
Then she opened her cupboard up to show me her blue carp wine decanter.
Wring, thanks for the lovely gift. I know exactly where I’ll put it. It is currently on display in the gift gallery of my home page.
I’d also like to thank LunaSea & thinksnow for their thoughful additions to our home. I don’t know what to say. They are things I’m sure Crunchy & I would never have thought to get ourselves.

And, the picture(of my gift) was pretty good, too (although the real life item that I HAD given to some one was just Mona w/o frame, the top of the dispenser came out of her head, and her hands were cupped to catch the drops. It was a work of art, I tell you. I gave it to her while we were dining out, and people 3 tables over gasped in what I have to assume was admiration.)

Crunchy, as your rejected suitor, to show there are no hard feelings, I, IRL, can pick one of those up for you, if they are still available. Universal Studios is down the street from my house (okay, a couple of streets and a left-hand turn), and I may be attending Halloween Horror Nights X. I can certainly see if they have any left in the Alfred Hitchcock gift shop. (Reminds me, I need to pick up a new CyberDyne golf shirt from Terminator 2 3D). little*bit, I’ll look for something nice for you, too.
