Who's got concert tickets?

I’m going out to Tampa in 3 weeks to see Apocalyptica in a small venue out there.

Seeing In This Moment at the Hard Rock in late July (As I said in another thread, the last of my favorite bands I’ve yet to see live!)

Skillet is coming to Universal in September, no tickets cuz it’s free with admission. Fortunately I have a pass.

Tickets in hand for Hatsune Miku in Dallas on May 14.

Anyone think the Andrew Dice Clay show will be funny?

Beethoven’s Violin Concerto this weekend.

I just found out yesterday that Kesha is coming to Chicago in August! I immediately purchased the tickets. She is coming as part of an EDM festival, but all that matters is that I get to see Kesha for the first time in over three years.

Four concerts by the Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom Music Center, and tickets to three operettas by the Ohio Light Opera in Wooster. July is gonna be a busy month for us.

I saw an episode and was severely underwhelmed.

Now that you ask I realize that I have no magnet fixed, long range tickets on the freezer or any in any of my ticketing accounts. It has been a long time since this last happened.

I’m going to see Cyndi Lauper on Friday and Bush/Chevelle in July.

What? No one is going to say they managed to get tickets/airline seats/and hotel rooms for “DESERT TRIP” in October…?

(It may be too late now; I was told a month ago that even throwing money at people it was hard to get tickets or transportation or even a place to stay afterwards.)

The only people that I know who go to these things are working at them.

They’re lucky.
Sure, they’re fixing things, and moving stuff around, or maybe even selling beers from a carry-tray, but they can listen.

…And they can pay their bills before the end of the month too.

I got tix for Neko Case and I’ll be driving all the way to Red Rocks for Drive-By Truckers in August. Always wanted to see a show there, and this will be a triple bill I can get into. Also appearing will be Yonder Mountain String Band and Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Patton fits right in with this group and Jay Gonzalez is simply awesome. Patterson introduced him as, “The Swiss Army Knife of Musicians”. More than makes up for Isbell in my opinion. The only thing missing is the pedal steel. If Neff came back, we would have Goulet!

Going to go see The Levellers on their 25th Anniversary of Levelling The Land in November, really looking forward to that. I last saw them in the early 90s at a Rage Against Racism festival in London, and I was a bit the worse for wear by the time they finally came on.

I finally snagged a ticket to The Who in Oakland thanks to a fellow fan from the band’s website. 14th row center for face value…not as close as I’d like to be but anything better would’ve cost a fortune. So, yay me, I’ll get to sing happy birthday to Pete in person.

Saw the Residents earlier this year and Renaissance & Curved Air last month.

Upcoming are Brian Wilson in about a fortnight
Mercury Rev and Cyndi Lauper in June
Sigur Ros, God Speed You Black Emperor and Mogwai in August
Magma (the French prog group) in September
Walter Trout in October

It’s a good year!

Just saw Pearl Jam, have tickets for:

Jason Isbell
Mike Cooley
Radiohead
Glen Hansard

Going to go see the Alan Parsons Project on June 2, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Sweet Honey in the Rock on July 16.

I just bought a VIP ticket for Toto in Saratoga, CA in September. I live in WA. No idea how I’m going to get there or where I’ll stay. I am crazy. Obviously, I love this under-rated band.

UPDATE: We’ve got tickets to see Lyle Lovett and Emmylou Harris at Fiddler’s Green in mid-July, and Willie Nelson and Family, along with Kacey Musgraves, at the same venue later the same month.

We’re also seeing the Colorado Symphony Orchestra perform Dvorák’s Symphony No. 9 this Saturday night – can’t wait!
