I finished this paid day off by getting pretty well shit-faced. After doing the absolute bare minimum today. Yeah, Holidays!
I’ve been unemployed, ok retired, for a long time, so every day without medical visits is a day off. I’d have had these days off anyway now because we’re fucking SNOWED IN. At least the power is back on. For now.
Had to work. Also on Thursday. Probably something to do with not being in the U.S.
Unfortunately the stores here have adopted Black Friday. So the mall (which has a food court, which is convenient for lunch) was overly crowded with people. Have to remember that for next year.

Mizpullin had the day off, but neither if our kids did. For some strange reason the kid who delivers for Amazon is busy this time of year – who’da thunk it? The other kid is a leasing agent and it’s close enough to month’s end they’re busy too.
