ETA: I see now he has posted several times this year. Maybe just not as frequently as in the past. Glad you’re still around!
@Schnitte hasn’t been around since March, but he told me he was starting a new job, so maybe he’s been busy.
It’s nice to be mentioned in this context. Indeed I haven’t been around in a while, but your post motivates me to become more active again!
@SentientMeat was a fine debater who I’d like to see return. Last I heard, he was a new father (I think), and left to spend time being a dad. Kid’s probably on Social Security by now.

There are a lot from the Long Ago Time that I miss. @Tygr , @LindyHopper, @dantheman, @TPWombat, @Watermelon_Man, @Crunchy_Frog, @mrblue92 … there are probably a lot more but these are the ones that immediately to mind. There are a lot of people from then that I do still keep in touch with, and far more that are gone than I would have wished. But I often find myself wondering how these old posters/friends are doing.
And how could I forget @TroubleAgain. I need to stop going through old threads…
CrunchyFrog and I quit smoking in the same thread about 23 years ago. I stuck to it - I’m not sure if he did.

Crap. No. Facebook. I’ve been delving into the past lately so LJ was on my mind.
I’ve been resisting Facebook for years. That has caused a bit of missed communications as everyone in my family is on that stupid site but me. I get second hand news about my daughter from my mom on the phone. It’s like the 20th century over here for me.

Rasa posted briefly last month, but everyone else is pretty much gone I think.
Besides other stuff, he got caught citing himself. He wrote and edited a blog, which he then cited to prove his so called “deep knowledge of all things Biblical”. Mind you he did know a fair bit. But citing yourself to win an argument is not kosher.
@Oredigger77 's been gone for a long time. He knew a lot of technical stuff.
