Has Rebo gone missing? It looks like she hasn’t been around for more than a year, but I never know if I’ve searched properly.
She’s been posting in the Wordle threads at least.
From the hamburger menu, click [Users]. Enter the name you’re seeking into the “filter by username” box at the upper right. Done.
That will show their (and your) activity in the last week. In her case that’s that she’s been here all 7 days, looked at 7 topics, posted 27 replies, and read a lot of posts. If you tap/click her icon you can see she last posted yesterday.
So I suppose the qualitative message in those numbers is that she’s here lots, but is only visible in a tiny number of threads. If you’re not in any of those threads, you’ll think she’s absent.
Similarly, @Rebo probably doesn’t know they’re among the missing.
I am happy to know it’s just me being mistaken.

He got offended it seems by the feedback he got on the Kabballa thread.
IIRC he’s flounced in a huff more than once over the years. More charitably, he also has a rather difficult IRL where stuff can get legitimately overwhelming for him at times.
Well, I hope he comes back.
I think it’s healthy to take a break if you’ve gotten frustrated - heck, I sometimes do it with IRL friends who’ve pissed me off (sometimes with cause, sometimes because I’m being overly frustrated for semi-irrational reasons), much less online irritants. I have have far fewer complications in my lifethan @DocCathode - of course not zero but less.
I hope he has a chance to relax, put aside or deal [see ETA] as much as possible with the unavoidable stresses, and then has the time to come back to our stresses!
Take the time you need Doc, and drop back in when you’re ready.
