Who's missing that you really want to see on the Board?

Yaay @Spice_Weasel !!!

I’m so delighted to hear of all that’s going well for you and your son, and sad to learn about what is not. Thanks for sharing how things are currently going in your world. You are loved here and your updates are always welcomed!

This.

Welcome back!

Great to hear about your kid. My grandnephew is on the spectrum, and in 8th grade it was determined he no longer needed an IEP. My nephew said he wept with joy when he heard that. Your son will probably be amazing teachers and classmates alike at some point; I’ve seen it happen as an educator more than once.

I hope @Kayaker is doing ok. This (mostly) lurker has missed his posts lately.

I’ve noticed @kayaker’s absence as well as @squeegee’s.

Great to hear from you! And yes, your kid is totally adorable.

great you are ok and only taking time out …

Me too, just yesterday I thought of him. I hope he’s well.

I know there were a lot of posters who mentioned that they needed to step away after the election, and especially declared “Day 1” plans and the the ratfuckery that did actually ensue. I honestly can’t blame anyone for that, and I have personal rules that have me posting less in P&E and political Pit threads myself.

I hope it’s something that simple like a mental health vacation.

:crossed_fingers:

Now that you mention them, Squeegee hasn’t posted since mid-December, and Kayaker since mid-January. Just hope life has gotten in the way for both of them.

I think kayaker may have retired:

I hope he just has new priorities.

I’m concerned about @squeegee, as he was having quite a few health issues last year.

I just noticed @kayaker ‘s absence yesterday.

Worried when people just disappear.

If I disappear without a flounce, assume the worst.

Quasimodem is back.

I saw that! I actually did a double-take when I saw his name pop up.

Holy shit

I am, too. I hope he’s okay.

I’m less worried about kayaker, both because he recently retired, and may well just have different priorities, and also, honestly, he seems to enjoy life, but also seems content to die, so long as it’s not a long drawn-out affair.
