Unfortunately, our dog isn’t boogy-ing down to her own soundtrack. The CD in question is an obedience title from the AKC, it stands for “Companion Dog.” 
And that’s why it was the best summer ever. 
My girlfriend ShadiRoxan is a member. I don’t really actively post unless she points something out to me. I’m always mumbling something about the boards being too slow for me.
Actually, even when she doesn’t point things out I’ll use her as a search engine of sorts. We tend to be interested in the same things, so I’ll leave it to her to concentrate the interesting threads in her post history.
d_redguy and I are married. (1 year as of Nov. 2nd!) He spent so much time on these boards that I had to check it out. Basically, it went like this:
“Damnit! Get off the f*$#ing computer! Why do you spend so much time ‘talking’ to all these strangers anyhow?!”

I don’t think we influence each other’s posts much, although we have agreed that nothing TOO personal about our relationship shall be posted.
After 2 1/2 years of posting, I married Kathy, introduced her to the boards, and she eventually became cadolphin.
And her post count is about to exceed mine.

Well, then, to revise my post,
You’d have some people confused, like me, who’d drag it INTO a discussion of what kind of music to play for the dog, then the dog lovers would come straighten us up, and the usual trolls and miscreants…
I met my fiancee on this board too. For some reason she pointed this thread out to me but didn’t bother posting.
But then, posting twice in a day is An Event for her. Posting twice in a day means I only get two minutes on the board in a given day.

It would embarass her if I pointed out that a quarter of her posts were in a thread she started called “Romantic Porn?”.
My boyfriend (Kombucha’ShroomPerson) posts, a bit, I lurk a lot, although less recently due to boring job…
I also met my boyfriend on the board… me and Emofkuniv have been a couple since we met on here in late May and 6 June was our first weekend together… madly in love since the first second we talked and its just gotten deeper and deeper. I so love that man - he’s perfect to me. Watch this space 
I’m in the process of going through a divorce (perhaps that’s a thread I should start to gain some perspective… hmmm) and I convinced my, < um, wonders what word to use > new friend to sign up. He hasn’t posted anything yet, and I don’t even think he lurks that much either, because happily, when online he says he’d rather talk to me than do anything else, like read, and he isn’t much of a multi-tasker if it comes to computer related stuff.
