I’ve only recently started putting on weight. I blame my lack of exercise and horrible diet, but also just getting older. I’m disappointed that it’s happening, but I look at it like this - if I had been severely overweight then lost a lot of it down to what I am now, I’d be ecstatic.
Anyways, I’m not in the running, I’m just a bit paunchy.
I am 6’1" and check in at 191 lbs. The BMI deems me as slightly overweight.
Is someone here going to tally these results and see how fit the Doper community is ? :eek:

I just realized I’ve been misreading Gatopescado’s name for years. It bough it was “Gatoescapado,” meaning “escaped cat.”
Also, from the thread title, I thought this would be about the most frequent poster. I guess I was primed by having just read the “SDMB addict” thread.
As for the current contest…I’m out if the running, unless we define “heavy” as, say, Captain Beefheart did…but even then, I’d lose out to whomever started that famous blimp thread years ago.
Damn, you’re kinda the exact opposite of the OP’s challenge. I’m 5’7" and was 140lb until I got old and fat, now 160.
Back when I was a stick (seriously the mothers’ club meeting I covered for the newspaper gave me the free pizza coupon they intended to give away as a door prize because they were concerned about me being so skinny), I had a coworker who was 6’2" and 140lb. Dude looked like Slenderman with a face.
Damn, if only I’d gotten here sooner. I’m 6’6" and I’m running 420 right now. There should be some upside of the 100 pounds I put on in the last year.
If Idle Thoughts wants to let you be the winner because you beat me by a lot, it is okay by me.

I’m 6’3" and down to 95kg which is basically 209 pounds. I was 104kg (228 pounds) when I got back from my holiday to Vegas August last year, it’s taken a while to trim back.
I’m 5’10, weight 145. No chance of winning. I was once 40 pounds heavier. I can’t imagine carrying those two car batteries around with me all the time.
All I know is I’m too heavy to skydive. Fricken sucks, I have been cliff jumping for the past several leap days and wanted to step it up this year but noooo. I was so put off that I didn’t even skip work and jump of a cliff.
