Works for me! I’m working at Ottawa Pride too, but that’s the 10th and 11th. So July 2-4 is superb!
Alrighty, since this thing seems to be grindingly slow, let me suggest some details:[ul][]I am willing to put folks up. Plenty o’ space and parking.[]For Saturday, I propose we meet at Hanlan’s Point (ferry details) at 11:30 AM (which would suggest taking the 11:15 AM ferry). This is late enough for those of us who Don’t Do Mornings, yet early enough that we stand a decent chance of scoring a good barbecue spot. If our group is going to be large enough (>24), I can go and grab a permit at City Hall[]Ward Island has a little amusement park with a few rides. This is the eastern-most part of the Islands, while I’m suggesting that we meet on the western-most Island. I’m open to alternatives.[]Saturday evening, I’d like to propose we go to ¿C’est What?. Good food, lots of different local beers and wines, and a decent atmosphere. If we want a patio for those who wish to smoke, there are literally hundreds of great alternatives. Anyone voice an opinion?[]Sunday, for those inclined, we could do a picnic at my place.[]Out-of-town folks who prefer to arrive on Friday can be accomodated with varying levels of activity, as desired. :D[/ul]So, a full weekend that can be sampled at will by those with full schedules, yet fun for those willing to embrace the whole lot.

Well, count me in as someone who is going to follow this but may not commit until closer to the dates. I’m not sure how finances are going to pan out, and I don’t know if I’m going to be up for the drive, but maybe we could do a Montreal car-pool?
