It’s a shame that I don’t get to the pit very often, I miss out on all this until it spills over into MPSIMS.
I’ve always thought that the board was like an open all night, international Coffee House. You walk in and there are hundreds of tables with people discussing things like how to get rid of evil nazi groundhogs, debating religion, trading dating advice, discussing reading material and occasionally trading shots at each other. You table hop, stopping to give your opinions, experiences or knowledge or sometimes just to listen and not say a thing. Every once in a while someone complains to the management, or the management itself notices, that things are getting a little rowdy at one of the tables. Some nights you can walk in and the place is rowdy as he!! and the management lets it slide, other nights some misplaced language can get you a dirty look. Frankly most of the patrons have no idea what is actually going on outside the coffee house with either most of the other patrons or the management. I don’t expect to see the same people or have the management in the same mood every time I walk in, though it nice to see some of the same faces. Variety is the spice of life. This place is like the weather, if you don’t like it wait ten minutes, it will change.
I’m still here. But I’m leaving unless someone starts a topic about underwear real soon.
