For the last week or so I cannot get here at all. I can get the front page, but that is it.
I haven’t done anything new or added/taken off anything to my computer, but I am left to slog off to the library to see what kind of shenanigans you guys are all up to.

What type of error do you get?
Try clearing both your cookies and your cache (temporary files). I can’t tell you how do do that until you tell me which browser and version you are using. I can tell you that when experiencing login problems like this, better than 99% of the time, it’s either a cookie or cache issue.
Manually Log out then log back in. Don’t use the automatic login via the cookies.

Possible she overlaps IPs with a banned identity?
We do endeavor when we ban a particular IP range to be sure no current SDMB member falls into that range except the miscreant but people move and change ISPs all the time and things happen.
But if that was the case when you tried to sign in you would get a message that your IP# was banned, so it’s pretty easy to diagnose and fix.
Perhaps unrelated, but when I tried to get on at work this morning, I had been logged off the Board. No updates ran since the last time I was on SDMB on this computer.
