On the whole naming thing I have this to add.
My friends daughter had a boy child and she named him Nathan spelled Nathin. I asked her about the spelling and she said she wanted to try to be different by using in instead of en.
What the Hell?
I asked if she realized that Nathan is short for Nathaniel and all I got was a blank stare.
Poor kid.

We had some serious thunder bumpers last night; I watched the Asians in Film movies on Turner Classic movies then went to sleep. Very good series, btw; and Osbourne has a film historian from the University of Delaware commenting with him.

Well, I barely slept last night and woke up with an anxiety attack this morning so I borrowed a klonopin from my mom. We’ve got a somewhat busy day today with a large lunch for about 65 people. For some reason it’s really freaking me out, but really, the whole day overall isn’t that far out of the ordinary so I don’t know what my problem is.
I hope that I make it to TVLand tonight because I’ll be staying home this weekend due to a couple parties this weekend (One paid, one volunteer) also, for celebrating father’s day on Sunday. But I’m so tired already and my other employee won’t be available on Thursday so if I go to TVLand, I might either have to just visit for a couple hours and come back or get up way too early in the morning.
Why am I awake?

It’s better weather here now than the last couple of days. The dust has finally settled (literally), although the temperature is up as a result (102°F/39°C). Good weather for swimming or staying inside in the AC!
I am always awake early, thanks to HRH. She sleeps 11.5 hours a night, like clockwork (touch wood) unless she’s teething, but going to bed at 6:30pm means she’s awake at 6am. This is fine during the week, since we have to be up by about 6am anyway (hubby starts work at 7:15am and I need the extra time to get HRH ready and fed before I get ready, then haul ass out the door to drop her off at MIL’s then drive to work)! On weekends, I try to keep her up a little later for my own selfish reasons, so she will (maybe) let me sleep until 6:30am! But generally, I am ready for “Mummy’s Little Helper” by 7pm (particularly after a long, boring day at work), so bedtime is what it is!
Sorry for that little ramble. Sigh …

I’m workin’ from da cave today so I can be attired in a nightshirt and drawers if’n I want, which is what I happen to be wearin’ right now. Half day in the office today. I have to go back to the eye doctor for a glaucoma test, plus to pick up my new bifocals :mad: , then off to see my gut surgeon for my 3 year followup. Between those appointments and the trip to the ER, my insurance company is going to luuuuurve me this month.
