Why did you choose your dopername?

:dubious:
Guess you don’t get many parties or presents on your birthday, then. Is that anything like April 31?

I don’t like to run.

I’m the Queen of Damar, bearer of Gonturan, the Blue Sword that only women can wield.

Or I’d like to be.

Self explanatory.
35 years and retired. Kinda proud of it.

I like Norse mythology.

It’s a nickname from when I was a boat captain. I always wore a shark’s tooth around my neck, because it’s a seafaring tradition that, should you fall overboard, sharks will not eat you if you are in possession of a shark’s tooth.

Mine’s really boring. Years ago, I was involved in a clique that referred to itself as “ACE,” an acronym for “Alliance of Championship Excellence.” It was a lame junior high thing, but we thought it was clever and I definitely liked the way it sounded.

So, when I needed my first screenname for something or other, I picked “Ace” and three numbers that rolled off the tongue nicely - “Three-oh-nine.”

I’m debating whether I still like it.

It sounds just like my real name. But it seemed weird to use my real name.

I like cats and Lynne is my second name…

Lulu is a nickname given by an ex-boyfriend. He used to call me Val-la-lee-lee-lululu and sooner or later it was shortened to Lulu.

And my favorite place on the entire Earth is Bahrain.

ggurl is short for my original handle (on another site), “grandaddygurl”. One of my favorite bands is Grandaddy. It’s pronounced gee girl.

That kinda just rolls off the tongue. I like it.

Because I am.

**Why did you choose your dopername? **
Because it wasn’t taken.

Go figure.

Mine is from an early nineties, low-budget horror movie which no one except me has ever seen (and for good reason).

For the benefit of the two people out there who don’t already know…

What? Aw, damn. Who told you? Well screw it, I’m saying it anyway.

Tears For Fears, baby! Woooo! :slight_smile:

<hijack>

You know, I hear Tears for Fears songs everywhere now. I blame you for that, Roland Orzabal.

<hijack off>

tee hee.
You said jack off.
:smiley:

Yeah, I’m 9.

Thanks! He was strange but came up with good nicknames.

Me too. I left it that way on purpose. I just love being immature. :smiley:
