Why do I get so turned on by two females kissing?

I understand the whole female-female attraction that almost all heterosexual males have…but for some reason, it’s the kissing that does it for me. I’d get much more turned on seeing two girls frenching each other than seeing one eating another’s beaver. Why is this?

Because you lead a boring uneventfull dreary life, only voyeurism can provie you with any enoyment.
I pity you.

To chlorinate your gene pool?

Actually, two women kissing – or doing anything else – doesn’t really do anything for me. I think I can understand on an intellectual level why this might turn some guys on (“They’re gettng each other revved up. All they need is ME, now!”), but I have to confess that it doesn’t turn me on at all. And I’m a raving heterosexual.

Nah, for me it’s even simpler:

Sex = exciting
Women = exciting
Women having sex with women = verrrrry exciting!

In my raging hormone driven single days (before Mrs Zero stepped into my life), it wasn’t so much as kissing females, as one taking a shower.

:smiley:

Homer Simpson:

“Mmmmmmmm. Lesbians.”

Cos one’s your mother and the other one is your sister :eek:

Oh my GOD! That’s disgusting.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Boy, I know I sure do. I wonder why that is…

Dunno, Una. You’re a woman of mystery.

I must admit that I do too… wonder what’s up with that?

How about a serious attempt to answer the OP’s question? Like LD, I often find the sight of two women kissing more erotic than two women engaged in more explicit sexual activity. As a theory, how about this: You’re presumedly watching a porno video when you’re seeing a woman “eating another’s beaver” (if you’re commonly seeing this in real life, please feel free to post details). So there’s a certain mental detachment because you realize the women are performing these acts for money. Kissing however is a commonly seen public activity so your sense of artificiality doesn’t kick in (even though the women may be only kissing for money as well). Generally activity that seems “real” is more erotic than the same activity being “faked”.

I think that it was pointed out in the kissing thread that kissing is often viewed as far more sensual and personal than sex.

I totally agree (that’s my kissing thread you’re talking about!:slight_smile: woohoo! I’m getting notorious.)

Anyway, about a year ago, my best friend was at a rave in the mohave desert on ecstacy and he noticed two girls kissing an arm’s length away from him. This wouldn’t be that great a story except that the two girls kissing was the reason why I couldn’t find him that night. It seems he spent the night parked right there watching the show until the sun came up. You think you’d get bored after a while.

BTW - I don’t condone taking Ecstacy! Makes you moody, and grumpy and irritable and depressed, and… oh damn, I gotta go listen to a radiohead album now.

huh, Polar, a good friend of mine who lives in LA told me about her first girl-on-girl experimentation. It was about a year ago, at a rave in the Mohave desert…

Coinkydink?

A girl-friend confided in me after her first girl-girl encounter. She asserted, however, that one isolated incident did not make her a lesbian or bisexual.

Having been in a 4-year dry spell myself, I said, “Well, I hope that one isolated incident does make me a heterosexual!”

You can buy beaver at the store? Wow. I might buy some & serve to some girls & see if that turns me on.
