Because I find the ideas of what a thread sounds like it’s about to be interesting, and so do other people, apparently. If you want, we could remedy this by having a thread specifically about that concept. If I had an example of the top of my head, I’d start it:

What I thought the thread was about

This is a thread for explaining what you thought a post was about. Just like “sarcastic replies to posts” threads. Have at it.
