As far as I can tell, buying Straight Dope “stuff” is one of the only legit ways to support the SDMB. Yet the t-shirt is only $10! In my experience, that’s really inexpensive for a t-shirt. I imagine most people would gladly pay $15 for the same thing. That would be $5 pure profit.
So given this impeccable logic, it’s clear that everyone should buy a shirt immediately before the price is raised. Hurry!
10 dollars is great for a shirt. I bought one right as soon as I realized they had them. Wear it proudly too, though I am constantly explaining that its not a “pot” thing.
