Why the Fuck do we need a live broadcast of O.J. Simpson's parole hearing?

Yabbut, what is Kato doing these days?

Well, I’ve got a few episodes of Jay Leno’s Garage on the DVR, but he kind of pisses me off, too.

It wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t 160 degrees outside, with 10 foot visibility from wildfire smoke.

Hey! We almost got enough folks for a Mini-Dope Fest! One more and we could go golfing!

Who needs OJ when watching Trump is like watching that slow speed white Bronco chase every day damn day. Except the Bronco is crashing into things, running people over, and going south in the northbound lane. And is being driven by Putin.

Weeping. Calling his agent. More weeping.

Ratings. A lot of people watch this stuff.
There’s nothing more to it.

I’m with ya. I got in the car to drive the 4 billion miles (give or take) from the airport. All the news stations are playing fucking OJ and his stupid parole hearing. Why? Can’t we all just forget about him? Fucking asshat. Some us would rather do other things than listen to a panel of experts talk about OJ. I drove for miles with the radio off. I also listened to music. The pains of modern life.

Hiding in the bedroom, waiting for Inspector Clouseau to arrive home. It’s taking longer than he thought.

Half of the people with TV news jobs and many of the networks owe their existence to the first OJ trial. Not to mention the “reality” tv genre. So maybe they all feel obligated.

Otherwise I agree.

Slow news day. No Russian meetings today.

Not my eyeballs.

I saw what it was and went to the dvr to catch stuff I’d recorded last week. Who gives a flying fuck???

Is there a pool yet, on how soon he goes back to jail for something?

The OP has requested that I edit the title of this thread to fix his typo. So the question is… Simpsill I? Or Simpson’t I?

[sub]I Simpsill.[/sub]

I think the point was more along the lines of “why both ESPN stations?”, not “why was it on ESPN?”

Well, he still has to search for the real killers, so he’s bound to have some dustups with the law. Tune in every Wednesday at 10:00 (9:00 Central) for Juice to see newly-licensed private eye O.J. Simpson solve mysteries while closing on the killers who (almost) framed him.

During the 1995/96 trial, Newsweek mentioned that the sequestered jurors had all their media censored to remove references to OJ, and someone wrote them a letter, which they obviously printed, asking where he could subscribe to this service. :stuck_out_tongue:

When the Oklahoma City bombing happened, my first thought was, “So, how long will this knock OJ off the top of the news broadcasts?” The answer? Two days. :smack:

I don’t understand the coverage, then or now.

Now, to read the rest of the thread.

Yeah? So?

(I know y’all know what I mean.)

I wouldn’t be so sure about that.

I’ll take “within the year”. He’s going to Florida FFS. My soul hurts that I know that.

Too late to just leave it? Simple Simperson?

I’m personally surprised that he survived this jail term - not just because of his age, but because he’s a combination of a high-profile inmate and someone who harmed woman. Both of those are very unpopular with rank and file inmates.
