Why the venom for Hillary?

Hillary has become their Emmanuel Goldstein. I don’t think there’s much more to it than that.

The difference is that Alaska’s National Guard has the 49th missile defense battalion. This is the only National Guard battalion on permanent active duty and is responsible for the missile defense of the US from Russia and North Korea. As commander of the Alaska National Guard Palin would have been privy to security and foreign policy briefings that governors of other states would not have had.

The 49th Missile Defense Battalion is operationally part of the 100th Missile Defense Brigade, which is also a National Guard unit, based in Colorado, and includes additional elements of that formation. So either the Governor of Colorado is also being briefed, or, likelier still, the unit is considered under federal control and neither is.

If so, then that would have been a really good example for her to have given for her actual experience in dealing with matters relating to foreign countries, rather than just pointing out her state’s physical proximity to Russia. I mean, I live three blocks away from a world-class zoological park; that fact alone doesn’t mean that I know jack about caring for animals, or how to develop a conservation plan.

The fact that she, AFAIK, didn’t make the point about that National Guard battalion indicates to me that either she had minimal exposure to any of the briefings you suggest, or she wasn’t sharp enough to realize it was something worth bringing up to those questioning her experience.

“Later, Kimmel’s roving reporter put some this-or-that questions to the same lady—and, wow. “What is a bigger threat: Climate change or Hillary Clinton?” The woman answered Clinton. “Guns or Hillary Clinton?” Clinton again. “ISIS or Hillary Clinton?” That one took a little more consideration, until the she landed on, “They’re about even.” Nope, they’re really, really not.”

Sexism? Huh… I’m surprised she didn’t blame the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, like she did with the accusations of Bill’s suspected affair with Monica Lewinsky… but of course then when these were proved true, she played the “jilted wife” card, and was shocked-- SHOCKED!!! to learn that Bill was UNFAITHFUL to her, so it must NEVER BE MENTIONED AGAIN! (And SURPRISE! Nobody does, no matter how soundly it discredits her, that the supposedly smartest woman --make that PERSON-- on Earth, was as unaware of the same situation going on under her nose, as Maria Shriver; but we’re still supposed to consider her as presidential material, and even give a “pity vote”).

I will say without reservation, that Hillary is quite plainly a psychotic. Not a psychopath, not bi-polar; but a full-blown psychotic. Having observed her behavior for some 25 years, and having done psychology research on her while I was in college, I will say that there is little doubt that she has severe brain-disturbances that imply abject psychosis. but she was spared diagnosis by her political connections; I’m simply glad that the American people recognized it, and blocked her once and for all from further compounding the harm she’s done to the country.

I’m guessing that Clinton didn’t sign up for any (undergrad?) college psychology experiments, so what exactly did your research involve?

I think a lot of the GOP thought of Reagan as God. He couldn’t run for a 3 term (even if he had the mental capacity) but GHW Bush was the natural heir. But this liberal Democrat from Arkansas had the effrontery to defeat the heir in his bed for reelection. That could have started it.

Ignoring trolls.

Did ISIS cause Benghazi?

Yeah that’s it LOL
Nothing to do with the dirty politics they used.

No…that was caused by the attackers, the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Sharia. Although after years of dozens of hearings where the Republican-controlled Congress ranted and raved about the incident but failed to prove anything, I’m sure there are plenty of people out there dumb and crazy enough to think Hillary was over there spraying bullets from an AK at our soldiers.

I kind of disagreed with the premise of this thread…there are plenty of legitimate reasons to hate HRC. But then you come along and make me agree with the OP by trotting out this dried-out horseshit about Benghazi.

We’re still waiting for a few. Nouns, not adjectives.

Well, concerning the Uranium deal, will Fox’ Shep Smith, suffice? Don’t feel too bad, I fell for that Uranium bit too after reading Clinton Cash thinking there was something behind it, but, I was wrong. Also, something the book didn’t point out, is, despite showing his credentials, I later learned the author of that book, Peter Schweizer is editor-at-large of Breibart News. Something that he doesn’t mention on the cover or in the book. He does mention that he is the founder and director of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) which sounded good to me at the time too, but I also learned it was also co-founded by Stephan Bannon of Breibart News. It uses much of its money from the billionaires Robert Mercer along with the Koch brothers. So not sure how much of it is really about government accountability after all, but just a guise for supporting far right candidates.

I dislike Hillary, but don’t hate her. She’s noted for saying anything if it will help her chances on getting elected, but guess that’s somewhat par for the course in politics for so many. She didn’t handle her changing position on gay marriage very well. All fine and dandy she evolved, but she’s not a very good liar as her exchange with NPR’s Terry Gross demonstrated.

The fact that anyone has to reach for Sarah Palin as a strawman (or straw-woman, in this case), shows just how pathetic Hillary is; for the flaws of both, cost them their respective elections; and likewise in both cases a more favored candidate existed, but was nosed out for a Phyrric Victory in the primary (Mitt Romney and Bernie Sanders, respectively), thus showing their respective party cutting off their nose to spite their partisan face.
And thus with Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton, it’s a classic case of Beauty and the Beast.

Generally speaking, elections are won by the biggest liar with the biggest coffer; that’s called “Crony Capitalism,” and it’s how it’s done; as when Bush won the election in exchange for a trillion dollars in bailouts, and Obama followed in lockstep right behind him.
Hillary simply played the game too long, and she couldn’t fool all of the people, all of the time; she had been pushing her luck since Day 1, and the FBI scandal was simply the last nail in her reputation. That’s why the American People chose Trump over 16 other Republican candidates, who normally all would have been considered more qualified, but they finally realized that “politics as usual” wasn’t working.
I personally think it’s too late, but c’est la vie.

I’m imagining Hllary as President and I’m liking the idea a lot.

We get a competent president. She will not appease totalitarians, especially the russians. They hate her.

And it would be like a smart bomb aggravating and pissing off the exact US population that needs it. Lean in.

Yeah. Burn it all down. Release the hounds
