For anyone else who is confused, this is about the Big Bang Theory tv show. Sheldon proposed to Amy Farrah Fowler.
I *thought *this was about BBT but wasn’t sure as I don’t seem to catch the current ones anymore. I answered “yes” because I can’t see it not happening eventually. Is this last season’s cliffhanger? I’m sure I remember him giving her a ring (Meemaw’s?). Are we getting close to the new season premier?
If this is BBT then I hope Amy will say no initially in order to get Sheldon to modify his behavior in some way, but she will say yes eventually and they’ll get married before the show ends. To have Amy respond in the same way as when Sheldon gave her a tiara would be a waste of cliff-hanging, but I don’t expect that much complexity to the show anymore so maybe she’ll just say yes and they’ll get on with wrapping up the show with another marriage. They might might even end the series with Amy pregnant or giving birth so that in addition to the prequel that I expect to suck they can also create a sequel about the Shamy child which will suck even worse.
Of course she says yes. She loves him.

I suspect, however, that the road to the altar (if they use one) will be fraught with pitfalls. But I’ll be glad to see the series end. It just ain’t funny anymore. 
She broke up with Sheldon just as he was going to propose.
She turned him down when he wanted to make a baby with her.
If she turns him down again this relationship will pass the Sam/Diane - David/Maddie - Ross/Rachel event horizon.
If he pulls a Penney and tells her he just kissed another girl, the whole season could be about him begging her to forgive him.
Please, Og, Noooooooooooo! (I mean yes, please let the answer be “Yes”) ((To Sheldon’s question, not to my supposition. The “Yes” answer, I mean.))
Just thinking about Sheldon makes it hard to communicate properly!

Actually, Amy could say “I just began a whole year of work here, I can’t come back to California now!” and we’d be left wondering “Will they or won’t they?” for the rest of the season. Ew! :mad:

It’s been cleared up now (thank you, Inner Stickler), but in the future, please let us know what you’re talking about when you post a thread. Threads where most of the board has no idea what you mean are just annoying.
I don’t watch the show really anymore. But I find the “no” argument until he shapes up persuasive. Sheldon has problems beyond which can be explained by any autism-like social difficulties.
The normal procedure is for a mod to change the title.
I suspect she’ll say, “What?” At least at first. After that, I suspect that (eventually) they’ll get married. And she’ll wear that tiara when they do.

Amy will string Sheldon along for the entire season, and next season’s finale will be their wedding, with Amy wearing her tiara.
