The main chance I’m giving him is to not replace Scalia with another textualist nor someone even more conservative.
Though, ironically, once he does that, I have absolutely zero use for him, and would prefer he be removed from office. Even if he wanted to be good, I don’t think he could accomplish it. He just has no skills in that area, and he’s put a lot of not-so-good people in power who would run over him if he tried.
Still, if he could actually turn good, I’d consider him a person and start caring about his well being. Right now, I want him hurt in whatever way I am still allowed to express on this board.
