I’ll be at work and even if I had speakers or a headset to see and hear it streaming, I wouldn’t waste the electrons. I’ve got work to do for a KC-130 flight trainer - that’s much more important. I’ll watch the news tomorrow night, so whatever is covered there, I’ll see.
I’m hoping it involves a rogue meteor landing on Trump’s head and either vaporizing him or knocking some sense into him. Either one would work for me. I don’t expect it to happen, but a girl can dream…
I work for a public school system in the close-in DC suburbs and we are closed tomorrow. Unfortunately. I’d rather be at work so I’d have something else to do other than brood and try to avoid any news sites (I don’t watch TV anyway).
Let me know if President Obama declares martial law and calls off the inauguration indefinitely tomorrow morning. THEN I might be arsed to turn on the teevee.

I normally watch the 6:30 news but not tonight ! It was about the inauguration !
I don’t think I will watch any news for the next few days . I don’t want my blood pressure going up , it’s fine right now and I want to keep it that way.
I watch/listen to a lot of NPR/PBS. They will surely cover every minute but I may experience a point where I can’t deal with it anymore. I am stocking up on alcohol to blot out reality once I get home from work tomorrow. What a nightmare. I didn’t like Trump from the minute I tried to watch an episode of Apprentice and I haven’t seen a single thing from him since that made me think any more highly of him. So…Long answer made short, I will probably catch some of it before I pass out.
This should make the actual swearing-in interesting.
I think I may have watched Obama’s first inauguration. If so, that may be the only one I’ve watched; like some others here, I’m just not that big on ceremonial events, even ones I approve of.
So I’ll definitely take a pass on seeing ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong.

The first choir that sang did sound a little Satanic.
He started his speech at least being gracious toward the Obamas, thanking them for their help during the transition and saying President Obama had been “magnificent”.
But from there it started taking a turn for the divisive. Lots of “America first, America first” (NBC did a word cloud of his speech, and America got mentioned a lot). And then his most interesting line was claiming that we’re going to “eradicate radical Islamic terrorism from the face of the Earth” (good luck with that).
The inauguration has been over for a while, but now police are firing tear gas rounds at protestors somewhere on the streets…
Full-gear riot police on NBC now firing tear gas, flashbang grenades, and pepper spraying people (reportedly).
I didn’t watch, mostly out of indifference (to the ceremony itself, as opposed to the transition it manifested). I figured that if anything unexpected happened, I’d hear about it.

No, haven’t watched any since maybe Jack Kennedy’s. Very interested in the nation’s governance but have an aversion to most ceremonies.

As it turns out, I came home from work (where I was avoiding coverage) and exercised my 2nd Amendment rights by shooting up a couple tomato sauce cans. Felt good. Then I started drinking and cursing at the TV news coverage.
We will survive this.

I have yet to watch, or feel interested in watching, an inauguration ceremony. I felt no need to break that trend this time. I’m not feeling 2021, 2025, or 2029 either.
