I said I’d go out of my way to avoid it, but actually I don’t think I’ve ever watched any inauguration before and certainly don’t plan to start for this particular circus of crap. I was at work anyway and not in a position to watch TV at all. However, Google helpfully reminded me that I could stream the inauguration live and then I felt more depressed.
Were they empty, or was your goal to splatter red everywhere? (yeah, I can relate to that)
I don’t care for this stuff much anyway but I really went out of my way to avoid this one. I just cannot stand to look at that man’s face, or hear him talk. I feel that he is a horrible person and I want no part of any of this.
My daughter was really sick today and she said it was still better than being at school today because she knows they’d be forced to watch at least part of it. That’s how I feel. I’d rather be sick than be made to sit for any of it.
Well, I ended up out sick so I turned on CSPAN and watched it. No commentary from the talking heads crowd. Had to wait for the announcer to introduce people so at times was seeing people walking in who I didn’t recognize.
