When my late father and I would watch All in the Family during its initial run, I could count on him roaring with laughter at some point and saying, “that Archie Bunker, he tells it like it is.”
My pops was mesmerized by Donald and there are tens of millions of our fellow citizens who are, too. Hopefully, there are many more of us five weeks from now who aren’t going to let this reign of bullshit continue.

I will try. But only in the deep hope that Biden will finally do what the majority of the country has been wanting to do for 4+ years – punch Trump in his lying wet mouth and make him bleed and cry. Anything short of that will be deeply disappointing and ultimately a waste of time for anyone not in the MAGACult.

I’ll watch the beginning, and see how it goes. I really, really have a low tolerance threshold for watching Trump speak.
All Biden has to do is basically show up without a needle sticking out of his arm and be partially lucid for the press to proclaim him the victor. Trump is going into the 4th quarter down 30 points and has to throw alot of passes. Looking at recent Biden interviews where the leftwing reporters basically give him softball questions and lead him out of any problems. I mean the guy recently compared Trump to joseph Goebbels and also blamed all 200,000 deaths from covid on him with nary a peep from the MSM.
I’ll watch until I can’t stand listening to Trump anymore, or the Scotch runs out… whichever comes first.
And I don’t know if I will be watching, it starts at about 3 AM here in Europe. But considering that Trump has accused Biden well in advance of getting a “strong shot” before the debate, bc. Biden, you know, is so senile, and bearing in mind that he is the master of projection, and that he sniffed suspiciously when debating Hillary, I would love to see him off the rails completely high doing something stupid. Let’s see if I can stay awake so late. Or I’ll record it, and depending on what I read tomorrow, watch it then. Or just the Best Of, will surely be on You Tube.
It will also be the first time I listen to Biden, so far I have only read about him.
Its funny you say that because ben Shapiro today says most people only watch about the first 20 minutes.
I think I will watch.
Here is my prediction for all three of them:
Biden will be OK. He will have his weaker moments when he rambles but nothing terrible. He will have a bunch of prepared attacks on Trump some of which will land. He will generally be judged as the winner of the debate.
Trump will be poorly prepared as usual. He will be overeager to go on the attack but won’t execute properly. He will rally his base effectively but fail to appeal to the swing voters he really needs.
That’s good!
Can I watch a rerun of Obama debating McCain instead? Things were so much better and more sensible back then

You know, that would be funny if Biden looses his composure so much he does take a shot at Trump. What then would happen? Would Biden fall, trip, or have a seizure?

The flailing and projection from the Trumpers are hilarious here. Very amusing.
Pretty much these two sum it up for me. Trump could say pretty much anything at this point and it wouldn’t cost him his base, and other Republicans will either wave it away or give the same tired excuses. All that can happen is Biden giving up an error, which could cost votes to the ‘plague upon both houses’ group. And not to mention, I don’t need to lie in bed for several hours fuming at Trump more than I already do so.
Trump has been pushing that Biden is on drugs and his base, mostly whites with little education, is largely buying it.
