Wisconsin shits the bed.

Wisky is the most talented team in the B1G. They slapped Nebraska like a cheap whore. Tonight they shit their bed. Unbelievable! They roll up an early 14-0 lead, make it look like a blowout, and then give up the game. Pathetic!

No NC’s, no Heisman’s, no Coach of the Year on that team. There is no way they should have lost to MSU. There is no way! They have more talent but got outplayed and out-coached.

Shame on Wisky. Tonight they just plain sucked their own limp dicks.

Reported for forum change.

They had that on Dave’s Old Porn last night. This must belong in Cafe Society.

Achewood comes, unbidden, to the forefront of my consciousness.

With all due respect to Wisconsin, Michigan State ain’t chopped liver. After laying an egg in South Bend, MSU is poised to have a special season. How many teams could play the Stretch From Hell, Ohio State-Michigan-Wisconsin-Nebraska and win them all? MSU just might do that. Both teams showed a lot of character coming back from 14 down, zero penalties on MSU and few on Wisconsin, this game had it all. The last play gives the Flutie play a run for its money as the best ending of all time.

Besides, if you really want an example of a team that crapped the bed, look at Oklahoma yesterday…losing at home to unranked Texas Tech, when they knew that winning out their season would put them in the BCS title game against (almost certainly) the LSU-Alabama winner.

“Shit the bed”? “Sucked their own dicks”? I could live without the disgusting imagery

I have to say that was quite an exciting last 3 quarters, all the way down to 00:00. Nice call on that 2 pt convo.

First good team Wisconsin has played (no offense, Nebraska, but your defense isn’t very good).

And honestly, between the Packers, the Badgers, and the Brewers, the entire state of Wisconsin has been getting a little too big for its britches lately. Settle it down, Wisconsin.

In other news, #3 Oklahoma got beat by unranked Texas Tech, #11 West Virginia got beat by unranked Syracuse, #20 Georgia Tech got beat by unranked Miami, and #23 Illinois got beat by unranked Purdue. #10 Arkansas damn near got beat by unranked Mississippi. Wisconsin got beat by a ranked team. They didn’t shit the bed or suck their own dicks; they got beat by a good team.

Wisconsin v MSU was a hell of a good game. MSU stunk against ND causing the undeserved disrespect. They are a pretty good team.

Ditto. (go Sparty)

You are right but it make the Wisconsin loss all the worse. What were they, #4? Win the game with an OK loss and they are up to #3. That’s get’s them well positioned to get up to #2 before the end of the season and make the championship game. Now they have to fight for a BCS bowl (which remains a good possibility).

Note: I apologize for the gross imagery in the OP. It was an amazing game to watch with a lot of emotion. Kieth Nichol has to be the BMOC of the week for all colleges in the U.S.A. Wish it was me.

Maybe they are. But I sure wouldn’t sell life or health insurance to anyone employed as their head coach. Who can doubt there are more coronaries in their future?

But that’s what you get when you are a great coach and get kids of that age to overachieve. On shear coaching ability, Dantonio has to be among the best college coaches in the country. He wrings everything there is out of these guys. They had no business beating Wisconsin and the team had every reason to give up when down 14-0 early. They had no business going 11-1 through last year’s regular season. Alabama proved that.

Also, Dantonio’s comments always have something to do with building the program, not looking towards the next job offer. There’s something very real about the guy. He’s not going to win it all until he starts getting more 5 and 4 star recruits. But maybe some of those guys should start to consider that he is their best bet in preparing themselves to get to the next level.

Deja vu.

Down 12 with five minutes left, they score two TD’s and make a two point conversion to take a three point lead. They then decide that they need to prevent a tying field goal, thereby leaving a receiver to get behind the last defender by 20 yards, and giving up the game-winning TD with 20 seconds left.
