Calling Sampiro the next Lewis Grizzard would be an honor. Calling him the next Jeff Foxworthy, however, would be like giving him permission to bitch slap you into the next county.

It’s nowhere near as magical as Parseltongue; it’s largely a matter of presence, nonthreatening body language, carefully selected tone and pitch of voice, and appearance. You probably developed the trick before you hit puberty, the way you describe your mother. People who work psychiatric for many years often stumble across the knack, because it’s so durn handy.

I remain hopeful that there will be further updates to the thread from Sampiro 
I get that it was a most respectful, appreciate bump but the thread is still months old, not to mention really long. I hope things are going well for Sampiro and his family but if he wants to update the board, then he should have the chance to start a clean, new thread. This one will still be linkable.
